Harbor Freight has several. You can also find them on Amazon or eBay. It depends on your budget.

There are also gooseneck illuminated magnifiers in places like Michaels and Hobby Lobby which serve the same basic purpose but might be better suited for some people. Some can be hung around your neck

Hard to come up with a recommendation since we all have different levels of vision and require different levels of illumination. You can probably try them out at Harbor Freight.

I use one of these:

They come with different plates for magnification. Not that this is the best but I like them since I'm wearing one most of the time when I'm at home and can flip it up and down for easy use.

This is silly in some ways but it's steam punk. You can also get one with double-lenses on the same side. The singles I got are 3.5x.

I just ordered, they have not arrived. But sometimes I sit at a table in the bar at a SciFi convention and rebuild Nova heads, and this item is already a not-uncommon costume/apparel item at such conventions.

Since I had been dropping 2.5x drugstore lenses in front of my glasses, I think these should work fine and be easier to switch views with.

I have a Donegan Optivisor. Not sure which one, I actually have 4 of them with different lenses in them so I don't have to change the lenses out when doing different things.

How do you like those? I bought one of those cheapo models on Amazon (mostly because I didn't know what to get) but I'd rather get a pair or two with glass lenses.

I've been using the Harbor Freight visor for a long time. It's good for pulling splinters, working with tiny parts, fixing my wife's jewelry chains, and rebuilding atomizers. It's a vinyl product with plastic lenses, but it does the job.

I liked the clip-on models in one of the posts above. That's what I've been looking for. For some jobs, the 2x and 3x reading glasses are good for dealing with close-up work. I found that out one day when I was trying to solder a new mini plug on my earbuds. Old eyes and tiny parts need help!
