Well, since I already started posting, I think it'd be a nice thing to properly introduce myself to everyone here.
My name's Johnny, of course. 23, and live in Southern California. I started vaping about a month, month and a half ago and absolutely LOVE it. I don't really have a sense of smell, but I can taste the flavors quite a bit from the liquids that I get. It's pretty weird.
But, anyway! A little more about why I started vaping in the first place. I use to be a heavy social smoker. pack every time I went out to hang around with my friends at our favorite bar. I didn't really like the taste or the flavor of analog cigarettes over time, so I wanted to look for an alternative. I did some research online and found Awesome Vapor. I ordered a Joye 510, and it started the whole vape craze for me. I'm getting into box mods and higher voltage devices .. Can't wait to try them in the future!
The MAIN reason why I started vaping (This is very personal, but I think it should be known, anyway. ust so you guys can understand where I'm coming from.), is because of my eyesight. I'm completely blind in my left (despite being able to see bits of light.), and recently almost lost my vision in my right back in December of last year. Things are really stressful; I can't drive, can't work, can barely do much of anything that I really want to until my vision completely comes back (if it ever does..).
So, after the major surgery I needed to have in December, I started to do a lot more research on electronic cigarettes and how they worked. I was extremely paranoid about my vision getting worse (and later understood the effects of smoking analog cigarettes on the eyes), so I immediately got myself a device.
I vape no-nicotine juices/liquids, and couldn't be happier. It's very relaxing, and I have more peace of mind knowing that vaping is extremely less harmful than smoking analog cigarettes.
Anyway, that's just scratching the surface of Johnny Elsewhere. If you have any other questions, whether personal or about vaping .. This is the thread to do it in! (Obviously. XD ).
Thanks, everyone! It's great to be a member of ECF. :3
