I got my ego on Monday. On that evening and on Tuesday evening I attempted to smoke an analog but they tasted like an exhaust pipe.
I was a pack a day smoker since I was 13 with some cold turkey quits when I was pregnant.
I am amazed that I dont want to smoke, and have been carrying around a pack of analogs in my purse all week. I never thought it was possible. I feel like I am dreaming.

I smoked for 43 years, got my janty stick over 2 weeks ago and haven't had a cigarette yet, gave my last 3 packs to a friend, but I sure like the flavors of the ejuice, but I'm not in a hurry to quit, I'll just take it one month at a time. Lower my intake if nic a little at a time, if it takes 2 or 3 years thats all right to, because I feel alot better without the smokes. Sometimes it takes an old dog a little longer to learn a new trick.

I had trouble quitting when I was on the Blu ecig and then my KR808. Eventually though I got my 510. I smoked one cigarette the day after my 510 came and half of one about a week later. That was all. Havent had a single cigarette since. There have been times that I craved one though.

As far as reducing nicotine, I started on 36mg and tried to drop to 24mg ( thats when the cravings got bad ) so I plan on my next attempt only going to 30mg then 24mg after that. On the other hand, I have stopped chain vaping, so my intake has gone down some as well. It will be a long process before I am down to 0 nic, but I was forced due to an emergency at my sister in laws house to move pretty much all of her basement out to the garage in under two hours this morning. Last year, I would have hacked up a lung after about 15 mins of strenuous labor. This year however I am an ex-smoker and current vaper and I was able to go an hour before my back said whoa there little doggie sit down a sec. After a few minutes I was up and back to work.

I am amazed that I dont want to smoke, and have been carrying around a pack of analogs in my purse all week. I never thought it was possible. I feel like I am dreaming.

It's great ain't it? to finally feel like you're free.

It's been 2 weeks since I have smoked, but I'm using 36 mg of nic and I am not in a hurry to lower my intake of nic, I'm afraid I'd start smoking again, maybe 6 months from now, after I am really sure I'm out of the smoke habit, then I'll lower my nic intake. I really want to take my time, because I have been a smoker for 43 years so if it takes 2 or 3 years of vaping to get my intake of nic down, then I'll enjoy vaping til I get there. I was smoking 2 packs a day.

Tomorrow is the 6 month mark for me. It took about a week with the first 510 kit I bought to get me away from cigarettes altogether. I haven't relapsed or even been seriously tempted since then. I got the first 510 kit because I was starting a new job. I didn't want to quit smoking, just find a way to get through the day in a non-smoking environment. After 40+ years of smoking I was done a week later even with the stress/anxiety of the new job. I truly never thought it would happen but it did.

September 30th was the last day I have ever smoked an analog cigarette. It was also the day in which my Vapor Tokers Fatty arrived. I have ordered several different versions of the eGo since, including the new eGo Cartomizer and the new Mega Ego Atomizer / Carts. It feels really, really good to not be smoking Marlboro Reds. Really good.

So good I've bought a few extra eGo Mega sets (they don't come with the Mega Ego Atomizer, but the 510 Mega Atty/Carts, but they have the 900MAH batteries.), low res atomizers, literally everything I could that could be used with my eGo batteries. Now... after almost 3 weeks of field testing, I just drip with a Super T tip and with either the Mega Atomizer or the stock 510 atomizer. Just... Wow.

Shout-out to Freedom Smoke USA (David, dude you're awesome.) and Vapor Tokers. Dealing with those of us new to vaping with the customer service you guys provide was a pleasure. And thank you Health Cabin, for feeding my compulsive need to buy everything eGo. Seriously... 2 bulk orders, I think I'm done... for the time being.

I totally quit smoking the day I got my first PV. Been 5 months now and I still love it. I am down to 4mg and occasionally vape 0 nic. Vaping has also reduced greatly over that time and I can go hours without and not feel like I have to have a vape.

Have to say that I enjoy it more than I ever did smoking. Will probably quit one day but frankly I enjoy it too much to do that at the moment.

This happened to me too! I can't figure it out, but I've been doing stuff I'd never have done in the past; like when I leave a movie theatre sometimes I forget to vape until after I get home, same with restaurants -- who would have ever imagined that I would go out and have a big meal at a nice restaurant and actually forget to vape (sometimes I call it faux smoking) just as soon as I get outside. Just amazing!

i completely quit analogs. it wasnt completely easy at first. i used to smoke marlboro lights but a few years ago switched to clove cigarettes. once those cloves were banned here, they made cloves slightly wider and a little less nice tasting and renamed them clove cigars. while i still smoked them as if there was no change, i was getting a bit fed up with the whole thing. then i got my first e cig from sschoice. it was a no7 pen style. i used it for a few days and went back to the clove cigars while the e cig sat in the box for months! well one day on the way home from work i stopped to buy a pack of cloves and they wanted $10.50!!! instead of the 6 50 i was accustomed to paying. now mind you i was already less than thrilled with the quality of the cloves to begin with, but at 10.50 i said absolutely not! I came home not owning any more analogs vowing never to pay for those tinkered with cloves again and i havent. i immediately dug out the e cig and went to town vaping like a lunatic. I have since cut down (and switched to v4l coolcarts). i started with 24 mg juice and now down to 18 mg and i want to quickly get down to 0 mg before the govt bans these. I dont want to miss my chance to quit and trust me, this is my ONLY chance! i've tried patches gums etc except i havent tried chantix because it sounds reaaally bad. If i cant quit with an e cigarette, I'll never quit.
I have saved a LOT of money since my last analog august first, and thats including buyin e - juice, a new v4l and some carts. i looove the passthrough usb adapter! theres even an outlet in the bathroom at work so i really dont need batteries at all! in fact im reluctant to even tell my coworkers about e cigs because theres only 1 bathroom and i already fight for time in there with the ppl who need to talk on the phone constantly.

Found this web forum, and after days of reading, bought an eGO kit from Freedomsmokes USA and then some juice from Backwoods Brew.

The eGO arrived, I tried it, burned through the cartridges and used analogs to get through the rest of the day. Juice came in the next day.

Haven't had an analog since.

I smoked 25-30 Kools a day for 40 years.

These things work.

They are life savers.

The mere fact that government is toying around against these things should be proof to everyone here that we are living under a soft tyranny.

Come November, let us all roar in unison, and flush all those political turds down the toilet.

This is OUR country, not THEIRS.

THEY serve US.

WE DO NOT SERVE THEM.

Make sure THEY ALL understand this when the dust settles in November.
