Like many others here I bought and was mortified by the skanky, burnt-tire flavor of the JC sample pack.

Recently bought two normal sized bottles (jc original and vanilla) and am much happier with it. There's certainly a familiar flavor present, but to a much smaller degree.

The samples tasted all seem as though whatever JC is using to make their flavors unique got spilled all over the place. Kind of like the difference between vanilla pudding and vanilla extract.

I've dropped them a note about it. I'll pass any reply along.

I'd be interested in their reply. I ordered a bottle of Tennessee Cured and love it. I was going to order their sampler next month, but if the samples are crappy, maybe I won't bother.

I also got the sampler about 4 mths ago, tried a few and can't get past whatever that is that they all taste like regardless of flavor.
Didn't throw it out, keeping it in case all else is gone and desperate.
I know there are a lot of fans of JC and I would be curious to hear from them on what that signature taste is and why they like it, maybe its just my tasetbuds.

It tastes a little like chocolate and caramel with a little smoke flavor and vanilla to me. Most of the other liquids I've tried recently taste horrible. I got some RY4 from a vendor and it tastes like mustard seed. Most other tobacco liquids taste like ginger to me. I like a little ginger in my chinese food, but not what I'm vaping.

The JC TC has been my go to vape.

I think people forget what a huge factor hardware is in the vaping equation. My starter Envy mini made all the JC I ever tasted feel like the same flavor. Once I started using my 510 the extra horsepower really made each flavor taste different.

The other problem is how incredibly subjective taste is.

I like JC and recommend it but I know for a fact that there are flavors that people here swear by that taste to me like the filter method somehow involves the sock hamper in the Bengals locker room.

No matter who is doing the recomendation buy in the smallest quantity you can for that first order from any new supplier you use.

I tried TC and LOVED it, vaped 60ml before I got tired of it and moved on but when I got thier other flavors I tasted that bacon-y flavor in all thier juices as well. I still love the TC but as for thier other flavors, I have to say Ill pass. I still think thier TC is a top notch juice but the others I just cannot vape. They all taste like bacon to me, lol.

I don't think I've missed a JC thread posting how I love their juice. I have to agree with River on how subjective this topic is and always will be. The T-Cured on the SB is my all day. On the other hand the Spiced Apple Cider was true to it's description. I also add Chocolate Truffle to some unknown strawberry purchased off the classifieds here and damn it's good. (vapes well with red wine). Again just my 2¢.

Yepster - I know it sounds crazy. In addition to being a glutton for punishment, I gave the sample pack to the friend who'd went on so much about JC to me in the first place.

He promptly returned them to me.

And to River regarding subjectivity: yep. I've had my fair share of SKEEZY flavors that came highly recommended by one source or another. The big thing I want to point out is the crazy discrepancy between JC's sample pack (that I tried, at least) and the regular product.

To those on the fence I repeat: That whatever-it-is flavor is still there, just the intensity of it doesn't seem nearly as pungent as with the sample pack. I can taste the difference between the original and the vanilla, for instance, which I couldn't with the samples.

JC juices (sample pack) was the first ever juice I tried. Initially I did not like most of them. I have since upgraded to a 510 and retried all of them. What a difference. Most of the flavors I like a lot with Expresso being my favorite with a nutty flavor. JC Original is pretty good and I like their Strawberry. Black Cherry is just ok but has a waxy taste to me.

I figured all juices would be similar, so I ordered some Dekang... Either I got 6 bottles of 2yr old stuff, someone sneezed in my juice, or I just can't stand any of the 6 flavors I bought, but I hate every one of these. Myboro, MildSeven, etc etc, all have the funkiest taste ever. Tons of vapor, but snail .... for flavor.

I ordered some Nhaler stuff to compare to the JC juice, and I hope it has a great taste and vapor and TH similar to the JC juices I tried.

The trial size JC bottles are awesome for using throughout the day for dripping and topping off as well! The long dropper is great when your flying down the road in heavy traffic at night time!

Cheers,
Dude

Just heard back from JC, but got a stock "we're sorry, here's what to do for a refund." It would appear that I got filed as a complaint rather than a call to action.

With all the replies, there's a solid chance I've lost my mind. Actually, the replies don't factor in to that situation, but alas.

I swear those samples were bad! I couldn't taste the difference between chocolate truffle and menthol.
