Johnson Creek Review

The first review was almost dead on. All the flavors do have a smokey flavor, (like smoking!) if your not into this stay away. I personaly love it.

My favorite by far is the peach and strawberry! YUM!
I also get the 30ml of JC original Tenesee cured and Artic menthol. (RPG 24mg)

It seems to me JC original is the base for most other flavors, so if you dont like this flavor you probably wont like the rest.

Overall buying experience 5/5
response time to email 5/5
shipping time 5/5
flavor quality 5/5

Another vote for the pork flavor. It does have a distinctly smokey flavor, but for me, it wasn't smokey as in tobacco smoke, but rather like liquid smoke, as in burnt BBQ. Not a fan, but to be fair, I prefer very sweet vapes and am not a huge fan of "tobacco" flavors. I much preferred vtvapor's Maple-tobacco flavor. I got a Johnson Creek Original sampler with my 601 Ultra order from electronic-cigz.com. Takes a lot of Glycerin to vape it out.

I like Johnson Creek e-juice. I tried the Apple Cider, didn't like it much because I don't have a "sweet tooth", but it did taste like apple to me. My favorite is Espresso mixed with some French Vanilla. Their shipping is excellent, I get my orders in 2 to 3 days and I live in Rhode Island. I will definitely order from them again.

I got the sample pack as well V2 and thought it was the old formula. How to describe it lets see, after trying just one chocolate truffle i almost gagged and the aftertaste lingered. So I opened up the other ones and smelled them and there is something not right about it. To me it doesn't smell like tobacco at all or chocolate nor coffee in the least. More like burning tires at a race track. If that means smoke then no thanks

So I had to douche out the atomizer to get that taste out because it sticks. I'm not going to take it back since it was only 20 bucks and will give it a day to air out with the caps off to see if that smell whatever it is leaves and it's not smoke.

Well at least there are 10 bottles and droppers for a DIY if I dump it.

On edit: I'm sure it's not my taste buds since other juices taste fine the others I have tried. So for now the bottles of original, tenn cured and a few others are going to sit open over night and see if they don't smell as bad after shaking them. Not really in the mood to keep cleaning an atty each time a crappy flavor touches it though.

Bottom line there is something wrong with this stuff, In no way is that a smoke flavor unless someone is used to smoking an inner tube from a bike tire.

If you are paying 20 bucks for an atty you are being ripped off! an atty should cost no more than ten. What model do you have

Shipping:
Placed my order on Monday. Got my order on Wednesday.
I'll give them a 10 out of 10 for shipping.

Packaging:
They give you a nice glass bottle of liquid with a nice glass dropper and a small plastic mixing/diluting bottle. Very nice packaging of their product.
I'll give them a 10 out of 10 on the packaging of the product.

Taste and Quality:
I ordered Artic Menthol (ruduced PG) in 24MG because I smoked menthol. The stuff they sent me "in no way" tasted like a peppermint patty. It had no menthol smell at all. I actually have to agree with one of the other posters that it had a burned rubber smell and taste. The aftertaste was even worse. It was really nasty!!! I even went as far as trying to cut it a bit in the separate mixing bottle with some VG to try to reduce the after taste and it didn't help. Now to be quite honest, they might have made a bad batch or relabled the wrong thing, but it still all comes down to quality control. From the reveiws I've read, I would have to say this is a re-occuring problem with JC.
I'm just glad that I have had good experiences with other vendors products prior to my experience with JC because, if this was the very first e-Cigarette product that I had ever had a chance to use, I quite honestly would NEVER touch an e-cigarette again!!!
I give them a 1 out of 10 for taste and the same 1 out of 10 for quality.

Customer Service:
They did offer me a refund or return for exchange. If I send it back, they send me a new batch as soon as they receive the bad stuff. This is nice but, I think they should have gone a step further. I placed trust in Johnson Creek when I placed my order and submitted my payment. Now they were the ones who screwed up. I think it's their turn to trust in me by offering to immediately shipping me a new batch when they received my complaint. They could have included packaging and return shipping for the bad stuff when they shipped the new stuff. They won't do that. They want the old stuff back before sending me the new stuff.
In the end, it was their screw-up that left me with no e-liquid to use until I'm able to get it from someone else (another 3-5 days).
I'll give them a 1 out of 10 for customer service.

So, my plans now are to ship back the nasty stuff and see what they do about it. They will really have to step it up in the taste and customer service departments if they ever expect another order from me.

JC juice is the only stuff I've ever used, so I can't offer any comparisons....but I have to say they have a few flavors that I really like. Favorite is Summer Peach....love it! As with others that posted here, I did get one bad bottle.... it was the Espresso. Tried vaping it and it was so nasty I became physically ill! I emailed them about it and received an immediate response with instructions on how to print a mailing label to ship it back and receive a refund or replacement. I will still order from them in the future because of the great customer service and their other good flavors. I really need to research some other places I can get similar juice from though, just haven't been able to find another with "reduced PG".

I got the sample pack and the Spiced Apple when I first started vaping. I didn't like any of it. It all tasted very harsh to me.

Also, when I first started vaping, I had expected that I would want flavors that tasted like cigarettes. I found, through experience, that I really prefer flavors that taste NOTHING like cigarettes (I like fruit and candy flavors that are mellow).

As someone has said, their flavors all taste like cigarettes.

I probably should try them again. I put them away after I got them, as they made me gag. Perhaps if they still taste bad to me, I can fool around with some VG and flavorings to lighten the harshness and add some decent flavor.

Right now I'm vaping what appears to be Chinese juice - Apple Cinnamon 18 mg. I added nic, VG and more apple flavor and it now tastes good to me, whereas the original formulation was yucky.

JC's shipping was fast and their product is packaged very nice. I loved the little cannister too. I just didn't go for the taste.

How fast is the shipping?

I'm planning on placing an order tonight, i'm a sucker for a high quality website layout.
lol, that's just plain funny.

I can't tell you how many times I've abandoned a website because I didn't like the way it looked or because it wasn't instantly user friendly. If I don't care for the website, they won't get my money.

Here are my impressions. Keep in mind that these are essentially the first flavors I've tried other than generic cigarette flavored pre-filled carts. Also, my senses of taste and smell are still pretty messed up from years of smoking.

Mint Chocolate - tastes like burnt coffee beans with a hint of what might be mint.
Arctic Menthol - tastes like burnt coffee beans with a hint of something I can't guess.
French Vanilla - tastes like burnt coffee beans.
Chocolate Truffle - tastes like burnt coffee beans with a hint of chocolate.
Simply Strawberry - tastes like burnt coffee beans and a real strawberry flavor in a fight to the death.

This is where I stopped punishing my atomizers and just sniffed the bottles.

Summer Peach - smells like burnt coffee beans and peaches.
Black Cherry - very strong cherry smell with a hint of burned coffee beans.
JC Original - smells like burnt coffee beans.
Tennessee Cured - smells like burnt coffee beans.
Espresso - smells like burnt coffee beans and coffee. If I liked coffee, I bet this one would work for me.

Vapor production is good. Packaging is good. Shipping was fast. I think I just don't care for any of their flavors. I'll put them aside for a while and see if I have a different opinion when my senses of taste and smell recover a bit more.

So far, I've tried Johnson Creek's Original and Tenn. Cured. I like the both very much, although they have more of a hazelnut taste than a tobacco flavor.

Of the other brands I've tried (BestCiggy and Vermont Vapor), I have to say, I think JC produced the most vapor and the best throat hit, as long as you go with at least 18mg (the 11mg didn't cut it) and Reduced PG.

I liked the Vermont Vapor second best, but it didn't have quite as nice a flavor. More harsh, but to be fair, I did use the 35mg version. Too high a nicotine content for me, so I ended up cutting it with the JC 11mg. That helped.

BestCiggy just didn't cut it for me. Weak flavors (I got the sampler pack) and not a lot of vapor. I also suspect it killed an atomizer.

I suspect that the reason the Vermont Vapor and the JC Reduced PG produces so much vapor is the VG they use. PG just doesn't generate as much vapor.

Pretty new to vaping, got a Blu a month and a half ago, was kind of dissapointed with it and ended up ordering a Joye 510 from cignot.com a week ago, and I absolutely love the 510.
I found that most of the Blu cartridges didn't give a good throat hit besides the classic tobacco and menthol, and not a lot of vapor. I then ordered 'Cappuccino' and 'Cotton Candy' from Revolver, they were ok, but also didn't produce a good enough throat hit or vapor.

I noticed Johnson Creek at some point, and since I live in Wisconsin, I decided to give them a shot. I ordered :
24mg Simply Strawberry
24mg Summer Peach
18mg Tennessee Cured
18mg Spiced Apple Cider

I enjoyed the taste of all the juices, they all gave decent to great throat hits and lots of vapor. I'd say Tennessee Cured is my favorite, Peach and the Cider a close second. The shipping was fast, and packaging great.

I definetly give JC a thumbs up  I plan on ordering some more juice from them, not sure if I'm going to go with the sampler or just pick a couple new flavors (definetly going to try the Mint Mocha).

My hubby and I ordered 3 flavors, Original, Espresso and Menthol.

Shipping and communication are excellent from this company, and the order arrived very quickly! I love the packaging, dark glass dropper bottles. We also recieved 3 mini dropper bottles that we were not expecting. Nice suprise. The only complaint I have about the packaging is the very tiny print.

JC Original- sweet almost pipe tobacco flavor to it. Pleasant, and a good stand-by juice with a neutral flavor (not too sweet or too dry).

Espresso- Tastes like JC Original with a slight non sweet coffee flavor. I wish the coffee flavor were a bit stronger, it tastes pretty similar to the Original flavor.

Menthol- Very disappointed. Tasted exactly like the Original flavor. No coolness, no mintiness, nothing.

The flavors are so similar it is hard to tell the difference, although the base flavor is pleasant.

Vapor production on all 3 (PG formula) is really good using a Blu cig. I get a nice cloud that lingers around for a bit. Other people do notice the scent of the vapor. My husband says he gets a good throat hit. I can not inhale the JC juice without coughing out a lung, so I use them like I would a pipe or cigar hit.

I would order from them again but probably just stick to the Original flavor. It is a good general use flavor that I don't get tired of easily. My only recommendation would be to reduce the amount of Original in the other flavors, and add more of that particular flavor so it doesn't all taste the same!

my favorite review! maybe its just that its late and im delerious, but it cracked me up. I recently ordered from JC hoping that "the problem" would be cleared up.. and it isnt. To me, this review is spot on, except I also get a rubbery taste.

I was going to send it back for a refund, and everything was in order to make it happen, but I got too busy with work and home life that I ended up forgetting about it. This was about 2 weeks ago. I guess I could try again, but to be honest, I don't even want to deal with it.
