The only thing I liked about my Blu pack's carts were the flavors. The problem is that after only about 5 puffs, your vapor production would be terrible. I tried flavors from other vendors but they lack the sweetness that I enjoyed. I decided to order from the source. I ordered 2 sample packs.
One is the standard sample pack from the Original Smoke juice (OSJ) line. The other, the Red Oak (RO) sample pack. They contain 10 3ML bottles and droppers and 7 3ML bottles and droppers respectively. Both come with glass bottle and glass droppers (a nice touch).
Since I have only tried 2 bottles, 1 from each sample pack, I can only review what I have tried so far. The reason I wanted to do this "mini" review is mostly because of the packaging. It really was a touch of class.
First, they place the droppers into a tight plastic envelope which is sealed. As well, the bottles were places into another plastic envelope which is sealed. The OSJ bottles were packaged 5 in each envelope where the RO had all 7 in a single envelope. They place the bottle and dropper envelopes into a small round tin with a clear plastic top. Each sample kit some with its own tin. Each tin was then placed into a bubble envelope. Both bubble envelopes were placed into another bubble envelope for shipping. This bubble envelope was then placed into the USPS envelope for shipping. It is very nice packaging.
After unpacking both tins, there was a sweet scent that I couple place which was very strong. This was from the RO tin and a flavor called Island. It really smells like a sweet suntan lotion. Although that may sound strange, it has a sweet coconut hint that makes me want to try it bad. I am resisting for now.
As for flavors, I have tried two. I am dripping directly on the Blu atty with the following results:
OSJ French Vanilla: This is a very pleasant flavor. The vanilla flavor is present but not too strong. Its sweet but the sweetness isn't overwhelming. It also isn't as sweet as Blu's Very Vanilla. It reminds me of a French Vanilla coffee creamer and I am tempted to mix it with one of the coffee flavors. The vapor production (PG based) is much nicer than using any of the carts.
RO Tennessee Cured: If you are a Blu smoker or have ever tried the Blu flavors, this taste should be a bit familiar to you. It is the closest thing to their Classic tobacco that I have tried. As with Blu's Classic tobacco, there isn't much of a tobacco flavor. It has hints of vanilla, something nutty, a hint of coffee, sweet and smoky. I LOVE IT! Understand that the flavor isn't as strong as the OSJ French Vanilla but the vapor production (VG based) is amazing.
I will chime in as I try other flavors and continue to create my JC shopping list!
