We never subscribed to text messaging and I really don't feel the need to add it but this opportunity does tempt me somewhat...but it would be even better if there was a "work-around"

As long as you have a telephone number, you can use Google Voice for texting.

But those of us who can't use a phone because of a disability don't have phone numbers and are left to twist in the wind yet again.
