Got my C3 cartos and Ice Menthol juice from SI. Man does the C3 give you more flavor and vapor than the standard cartos, and the juice is so much better than 555 or Desert Joe. Now if I could only figure out a way to keep it from looking like a .... pipe when I'm drawing on it in public.

I think I will keep the C3s for around the house and load up some standard cartos for when I am out in public.

Still waiting for the Black Licorice and Margarita juices. Those should be interesting.

The 24mg nic seems much better for me as well.

Yay.

What the _______. The C3 cartos thread onto my auto batt just fine, but won't thread onto the manual batt. How can that be? Certainly don't want to force it and cross thread and ruin a carto or the batt. Maybe it's just this one C3. I'll open another later today and see if it will screw onto the manual.

Today it is my mission to smoke down all the standard cartos to almost dry so that I can clean them all and rid myself of the 555 and Desert Joe which is loaded into all of them. I'll keep one loaded with 555, and one loaded with Desert Joe, but the others are going to have the other flavors so that I can enjoy the variety.

I wanted to just pop in quickly and wish you luck, Coastie (and you as well, Renolizzie)... Keep at it... I'll echo previous sentiments and say to let yourself vape... It took me half a year, but I eventually quit the analogues too. I wasn't necessarily setting out to quit, but after a while, you'll realize that the cigs just aren't worth it. I won't say vaping is more satisfying, because to a smoker it really isn't, but it is an acceptable replacement, and you don't have to worry about butts, and ashes, and all of the rest of the crap that you have to deal with when you smoke... Good luck and again, keep at it! :)

Okay, got my CE3 cartos and my Ice Menthol 25mg, Wow Maragrita 25mg, and Wow Black Licorice 25mg. Kinda disappointed in the Margarita and Licorice juices, too much of a medicinal taste to them. I'll use em, but I may mix them with some Ice Menthol or something to cut the flavor a little.

I was also disappointed that my order of juices from Vapor4Life leaked all over the inside of the shipping envelope. .My 30ml of Black Licorice turned out to be about 20ml by the time it got here. .I have emailed Vapor4Life to let them know of the problem.

I am now apprehensive about buying Wow juices since both of the flavors from them that I got had that same medicinal flavor.

The CE3 cartos are great, when used on the auto 78mm batt. Unfortunately they do not seem to fit the 78mm manual batt. They are very hard to screw on and I don't want to force them and mess up the batt. Makes no sense to me that they would fit the auto and not the manual since the standard cartos fit both just fine. I've got an email into SI about this issue, but it really has me baffled. Anyone else have this issue with the CE3s?

All is going well with the cut back on the analogs, but I find myself vaping almost all the time. Am I becoming more of an addict of the nicotine? I sure hope not....it really does concern me.

A sample order I got: half of the ejuices seemed to taste medicinal/chemical, reminding me of the chemical factories I live near in NJ. After a week or two, I tried them again, and they were very good tasting, with the medicinal taste gone! I think this is what they mean when they say to 'steep' them. They are mixed up fresh, just before shipping, and all of the flavors inside haven't had enough time to meld together yet.

As for becoming a nicotine addict: I was one for 35+ years. I feel less like one now, even though I feel I'm vaping up enough clouds to solve the mid-west drought. The craving to light up first thing in the morning is waning, as is the need for a smoke after meals. I see this as personal progress, from 'gotta have my smoke', to 'ya know, I'd really like to vape now'.

Flavor needs time to settle. Some flavors more than others. Let them sit a week or two... open and "burp" the bottle and shake once a day or so to get some new airflow in there... or you can even let them sit a day with the cap off. Some people put them in a bowl of warm water to "speed steep" too.

Of course juice is subjective.... but here's some decent write ups and chefjosh takes suggestions too. www.vaporrater.com

Anyone seen Coastie lately? I have been wondering how he is doing with his journey. This is one of the first threads I read and actually got me to look into vaping seriously as an alternative to smoking.
I keep checking here, hoping to hear from him. According to his profile, it's been 3 weeks since he last checked in here. Hopefully he just got busy, and hasn't had time.

Yep, it's me. Bet you thought I dropped off the face of the earth didn't you? Man oh man has life been busy. Yes I have been busy with the new grandson, and of course keeping the older grand daughter entertained and happy. It is so wonderful to have my daughter and grandkids living only 4 streets over.

And for those curious, YES I am still enjoying the ecig, but sadly I am also still using the analogs. I have easily cut my pack a day habit down to less than a half pack a day, and am comfortable there right now. Yes I want to quit completely, but I know myself well enough to know that if I push too hard I will take the easy way out and just go back to my old habits. I don't want to do that, not at all. So I am going at my pace. I am finding that the analogs are starting to taste like road apples though, so that is a good sign. With Christmas coming up I have already put a V2 (is that the correct name) batt on my Christmas list, and have been looking at expanding my ecig equipment selection.

I have experimented with some other juices, but without too much success. I know that I am disappointed in Vap4Life as I ordered some juice from them, got my shipment, but half of one of the bottles leaked in the envelope so I only got half of the black licorice that ordered. I contacted them by email, with pics, but heard nothing back from them. So I have decided that if they don't care about their customers satisfaction, then I don't care about them.

I have gone through about half of my juice supply so it is time to start looking for another good juice source with a good selection. I love the customer support that Smokeless Image provides, but their selection of juices is somewhat limited.

I am happy to report that I have broken almost all of the old habits. No more cigarette right after meals. No last cigarette before bed time. Never take my pack of cigarettes with me when I leave the house. And I am on a very strict analog schedule, with the help of an Android app. I don't smoke until the phone tells me I can. I know that sounds ridiculous, but it helps me to discipline myself. I find now that if the phone buzzes and tells me I can have a cigarette I usually just push the "Bank it" button and go about my business without smoking. I truly believe that breaking the routine habits is the key to success in this endeavor.

Thanks to everyone for wondering about me. I will keep updated here more often.

ONWARD and UPWARD.

Great to hear of your continued progress. You don't know me at all since I didn't become a member until after you "disappeared". I would like to tell you that your story (I was reading the forum for a while before deciding to vape and register on ECF) is what really tipped the scale with my decision to start vaping. I am proud to say that I have not had a cig in 3 weeks now. I started vaping about mid September.

Please don't be a stranger. Your journey helped me and I sincerely thank you for sharing it.

Wow Robin. Thanks for sharing that with me. I am so happy to hear that my experience and rants have helped someone else. Sounds like you are stronger and more motivated than me since you have already gone 3 weeks with no analog. Be proud of yourself, you deserve it. I have smoked for so long (not gonna say how long) that my habit is super ingrained so it's gonna take a little more work for me. But work I will. Thanks again Robin, you made my day.

Whoops...almost forgot...ONWARD and UPWARD.
