Joye 302 - did I screw up?

For some strange reason, I wanted a stainless steel pen style pv. Did my research and decided on Joye 302. Ordered it from China, and got it today. I first realized it's an automatic (which I hate). Charged the batt for the required 4 hours, screwed on the atty, and used one of their pre-filled carts.

I get a little vapor when I take that first "pre-drag" puff, but then Nothing. The atty gets hot, but it's a looong distance from the tiny little cart.

Is there something I should know about the 302?

I'm so happy it's not something I depend on - just thought it would look cool! Humpf!

Did you blow the primer fluid off the atty first?

Thanks! I'll give it a try. It is Kinda vaping, but not enough to inhale. It's my first experience with a pen. I should stick with what I know works!

First of all, atomizers take time to break in (about 3-4 days) before they're working properly. Second, it IS possible that you may have gotten a bad atomizer. Third, if you ordered from China are you sure it's an AUTHENTIC Joye? Knockoff brands have a tendency to not work properly fairly often. Make sure to blow all the primer out and add plenty of juice so the atomizer is able to produce vapor... not enough juice = not enough vapor. Also make sure you don't flood it... too much juice = not enough vapor as well. It will take time to find that right amount. Another thing - if the battery is not working properly that could affect your vapor production.
