Ok so I have had the Joye 510 for about 4 months and so far so good, however in the past 2 weeks I have encountered some problems with my battery. I had the kit brand new and everything was working fine, then one of my batteries when I put it in the charger it would light up blinking then appear to be charging then about 5 secs later it was as if nothing was in the charger. I tried the wall charger and the TCC charger and the TCC charger attached to my laptop. I ordered a new battery and its working fine. Now my other battery out of the original two I had just died in the same way my other one did.

I did some research and saw that it may be a contact issue and I pried them up a little bit but it didn't help. Something of note, I dropped into my atomizer and a few times I dropped a little too much and flooded it. I don't know if excess liquid could get to the contacts on the battery and ruin the sensor. Also I noticed that one my new battery there looks like there is a little white liner surrounding the contact, but on the 4 month old battery the liner doesn't seem to be there, a faint outline but not as defined as my new battery.

So is there anyway to rescue these batteries, or do I need to be more careful dripping my atty, and/or screwing in my battery?

Thanks for all your help!!

Zack

If they're manual batteries then they're sealed, so juice getting into the battery wouldn't be the problem. You can try wiping off the threads with a paper towel that's been slightly moistened with 91% Isopropyl Alcohol and wipe off the contacts on the charger with a dry paper towel. I always wipe off the threads before I charge my batteries because there's always going to be a little bit of juice there regardless of whether you've flooded the atomizer or not.

Thanks for the quick reply deusXmchna!!

Yeah I guess over time they wear out from being screwed in, I took apart the one that failed two weeks ago, and if you remove the contact there is a little rubber washer, the liner I was referring to, and it was greasy with ejuice and just worn out, so I guess that wears out over time and it doesn't make correct contact. The contacts are pretty clean, down right shiny in fact, wiped em down and the like before with the one that died two weeks ago. So I will order a bunch more...anyone know where to find a bunch of white batteries for cheap that arent the bad knockoffs???
