Joye 510 issues

I just got a new Joye 510 in the mail for my hubby. He's not here atm so I charged it up and tried it out myself. LOL! Issue is when I popped a pre-filled cartridge into the atty I got a mouthful of liquid and the atty got VERY hot! What's up with this? I'd like to get it fixed so hubby doesn't get turned off by it.

Since it's a brand new atty it needs to be primed. Try putting the cartridge on and letting it sit for a minute or two standing upright so the juice can flow into the atty. If you didn't blow out the primer fluid in the atty it may taste yucky for a while before it burns off. You can try blowing it out now if you want but with juice in there it may be a bit late.

I have a Joye 510-T with manual batteries. My Atties get very hot on long draws

Poor Steve! He was so excited about his Joye 510, left for work this morning and has already run through and recharged both batteries. Apparently the battery doesn't last as long as I thought. I feel bad that he's having a hard time with it.
