So I have been vapeing away on the 510 for a week and a half now, have tried some mods but in the end it is not reliabel enough for me. So in the same size what do you recomed for a unit that will be headache free.

How is it not reliable? I'm curious as to why it's not working out for you? What mods have you tried?

As far as attys go, I've only tried the 801 and 510. I used the 801 first and wasn't very happy with it. I switched to the 510 and have enjoyed it so much that I stuck with it.

Almost every issue I've ever had with my 510 was due to the cart. When I am home, I switched to dripping, and my 510 hits consistently every single time. When the vapor loses flavor, or tastes a little "off", I know it's time to add a few more drops. Nothing has beat dripping for me on the 510 yet.

And after trying pretty much every single cart mod there is, I'm now using the blue foam mod for where dripping is out of the question. It's the closest thing to dripping that I have found. I'm also keeping an eye on the new "Tesla Filter" that Janty may come out with, as well.

That being said, if you are still having issues with the 510, other folks swear by the KR808 model. I haven't tried it yet, but some people swear by it.

The 510 has been king of reliability for me - even over the 901. I have 510 atomizers still putting out strong vapor like new even with constant dripping. The 901 is still reliable - it's just I'm finding myself having to clean or blow it out once in a while after a month of use.

You know what they say about opinions. :) OK, keeping that in mind here's mine: You guys cannot use a cartridge because the juice you buy is much too thick to wick properly.

I vape a 510 with a bigger battery, the ADM (spring mod) and mix my juice thinner than Johnson Creeks.

This machine produces at least twice the vapor as any analog I have ever smoked. And consistently.

I may start selling this system depending on the SE vs FDA ruling (but not yet, SJ). ;)

Try the KR808D-1. It is a 2 piece so it is convenient.

Convenience is the reason I fell in love with my VK. But for some reason lately it hasn't been the same. Ever since I started using a passthrough I find I can't get the same satisfaction when I'm using the VK on the go. Don't know if I'm explaining this right.

It's probably because you are getting better voltage by using the passthrough compared to a battery...

My 510 has been problem free until yesterday. It started producing less vapor. It was the atty. I screwed a new one to the battery and BAM! Vapor out the you know what. I'm going to try to salvage the other one by one of the methods of cleaning I've read about on this forum. I've only had it for a week and a half. However, I think it may be done for and it may have been user error. I may have let the atty get to hot without enough liquid on it. We'll see. Other than that little hiccup it's been fine. I started using the PTB mod and the draw is really good as well.
