I think this is very odd, still. My first 3 510 atties lasted months. Now, they've become a hit'n'miss proposition, with the emphasis on the miss.

Last month, I ordered a 5-pack. Checked each one when they arrive on Sat, 22nd, for DOA, and all were functional. The first one I used lasted 8 days, dying on the 30th. My DMM says it's resistance is 17Kohms. Of the next three, I've lost track of which lasted how long, but 1 lasted less then 24 hours before heat and vape output nosedived (that one I started using last night). The other two I used between the 30th and yesterday (Feb 9th). Of those 3, one has a resistance of ~500Kohms. The other 2 are at 2.1, so might be salvageable. I haven't started on the 5th one yet.

I use only eGo batts. I've been using only vendor-supplied juices. I didn't dry-burn any of these. I drip.

I will never buy another Joye std. 510 atty, unless there's some huge news about them suddenly producing a fantastic, reliable, consistent product.

ETA: Well, 1 atty resurrected. I guess it was just hopelessly clogged. Never had that happen that quickly before.

hmmm i hope you're wrong about that as joye reg 510's listed at 2.2 Ohms are my favorite (until i get used to HV attys).
I just got 10 of em over the last week, and haven't blown one yet. I use an eGo, a Phidias, a Provari, and a Darwin... the last two are VV and i have gone up as high as 4.2volts without problem... but i am a delicate vaper... what i mean is i don't vape the heck out of them each time... not saying you do, but i don't like a harsh vape so i have to make sure i have just the right amount of drops in there.
I guess if there is not enough there is the chance of frying them...

these were on sale, DFWvapor.com "forum special" $5.00 a piece. shipping is $6. so i got a bunch.

I've also purchased quite a few of mine from cignot and they've been great, so perhaps you may want to stay with them since you had no problems with them( genuine joye's)
I can't say on ecigsupply 510's as I've never bought one from them( only a 901)

I've also gotten 510's from Rocky Mountain Vapor and Litecigusa and never had a problem ( also genuine joye)

There's always a chance to get a dud every once in awhile but I've honestly only had 1 in all the time I've been buying.
(resistance was 110.5 and wouldn't fire on my ego lol)
Most last me at the very least a month, most 2-3 month's on average. I vape heavy, 4-6 ml's a day of 100% VG to give you an idea of how much use these get.

The only times I've had issue's is when I roamed from my normal suppliers and got knock-offs that died in a week : (

The ones from ecig supply are Joye. Don't think it matters what supplier I get 'em from. I've had genuine Joye from 5 places. I can only conclude that there's something I do that makes a difference. But lots of folks drip with eGos, so I don't know what it might be. Once I'm using a 3.7 mod, I won't care so much, but until then, I'd like to not have to throw money at more 510 stuff.
