Hi there, ok I did post a thread yesterday, but cant find it, but this one is slightly different, ok, with the Joye ego charger that is plugged into the front USB port of my computer, the light stays green whether there is a batt in there or not, I charged one batt (or thought I did for 2 hours ,light stayed green all the time) it lasted about ten puffs then died again. the batt LED does flash when i screw it in.
Ok then I plugged the USB into one of the rear slots of my desktop and now the light is off, and I have a batt in there now.
So my queston is, is the light sposed be off when batt is flat, then when the batt is charged it turns green?
From vague memory (could be wrong here) my front USB ports aren't USB2 but my rear ones are.
Anyway thnks for ur time.:)

don't do that. do you have an ac adapter? If so, definitely use that.

I don't know what it is but here is how my ego charger works. Plug into wall or usb and light on charger is green. Screw in depleted battery and light turns red. After 2 hours or so light turns green to indicate fully charged.

Not sure about usb ports, but try them all to see if you can get the sequence I described. You might need a new charger, not sure. Maybe someone else knows.
    Good Luck!

Ok thanks guys, yeh my usb ports are crap apparently, according to my USB charger. I just got back from the electronics store and bought a USB to wall adapter and the light went red like its sposed to, cheers. I have so many batt chargers like we all do these days, I suspected the sh!tty USB ports.
But im gonna have to light up an ana in the meantime, dunno how i went through three 900mah batts yesterday, they were new though, and i didnt charge them, so Im guessin they all had about half power maybe?

I've been noticing some weird behavior with my chargers as well... when I plug into the wall, my eGo takes like 7 hours to charge, when I plug into USB it only takes like 2 hours. Is this normal? Also, my batteries seem to last a ridiculously long time... 2.5-3 days... guess I'm just a light vaper...

Ok was just talkn to a friend who said USB ports on newer comps and laptops are best for charging, as well as usb to wall, maybe a semi faulty, too slow wall charger?

I use the 110v adapter to charge my Ego. The charger LED will turn red when I plug it in. When I hook up the battery the LED on the Ego will flash several times and the LED on the charger will flash once about every 5 seconds for a short time then it turns red until it completely charges the battery turning green when finished. I haven't timed how long it takes to charge a battery but 2-3 hrs seems to be about right.
