Love my eGo. Love, love, love it. I actually have 3, now. Got my first two from the lovely ladies at Cignot (had to get the pink one). And no, the buttons don't bother me...at least, not yet. I also bought two 'eCo's' from GoodProphets. Just got 'em today, so I don't know how well they perform, but for the price of $39 for a complete kit (they were on sale), I couldn't pass them up.

If you get an eGo, get a drip tip. I never thought I'd drip...thought it'd be a hassle, but really it's no more of a hassle than picking up a pack of cigs, pulling out a cigarette, scrounging for a lighter, lighting the cig, and putting the lighter back in a place where you'll never find it again (like the bottomless pit of my handbag). ;)

Oh, and I also have my Kr808's. I have five of them, total (the batts). I got an adapter and now use them with my 510 atty's just because I sometimes want the feel of a regular cigarette, like when I'm at the bar having drinks with my friends. Most KR808's have pretty decent battery life, so that's why I chose to get the adapter instead of springing for longer 510 batteries.

I'm on the other side of the preference fence. I also have both, RIVa and eGo. Several of both actually. My preference is the RIVa button. Received 4 different colors today in the mail. I haven't noticed any problem with the eGo button sticking on any of mine. But, I don't use them as much a I do RIVa. So, far as I'm concerned it's 6 of one and half dozen of the other. I've never found an atty I've liked. I'm strictly a Carto man. Since last Saturday, been a vapin C-E2 XL R4(?) 510 Carto's from Clouds of Vapor. I hypo 1.5 mL in the thing 'bout every 8 hours. I'm good to go. I'll prolly go LR whenever they come out with this Carto in a LR version. Wifey is certain I've gone bananas, I'm knee deep in boxes of PV's, ejuice, and what not round here. And today I bought nuther Lil Sister, and am waiting to order nuther ProVape affore the night is over. Just reread my own post. I'ma thinkin maybe wifey is right. No matter what you choose to get today, somebody somewhere is busy creating something that you'll decide you gotta have tomorrow. Wait 'till they get the juice pumps a goin, and built in digital volt meter LCD's for the variable voltage crowd. Oh crap, just buy a RIVa and forget it.

Cheers,

I too started with the kr808d-1 and then purchased an eGo. I also used adapters to allow me to continue to use kr carto's on the eGo. I was very pleased with the design and battery life of the unit. Be aware that your kr batteries deliver 3.7 volts to the cart when fully charged but the eGo/Riva/or various other clone only produces 3.2 volts. I think it's safe to say that you will notice the difference...
