Joye Ego VS FS Ego

hey gang,
just wanted to know what you guys & gals thoughts are on joye ego vs fs ego.
Pro's & Con's comparison is greatly appreciated as I am going to upgrade from my kr808 finally!
(Do clearomizers fit properly on the Joye eGo XXL 1000mAh Mega Battery - Stainless ?)

ego batteries use a 510 connection you can get an adapter for very cheap i believe clouds of vapor has em

so what youre saying is that i would have to get a adapter to fit a CE2 Clearomizer XL Revision 5 on a xxl ego mega battery? but these are threaded for Joye 510, Joye eGo and Joye eGo tank batteries. Compatible with most 510 threaded devices. Am I missing something?

The 510 pitch thread will fit but the cone probably won't go over them because the outside diameter of the clearos are bigger than the metal ones. I really like using the cone because it adds a little strength in case of tipping or drops, and also because I like the draw better. I filed the end off one of my cones so that I can use it with clearos, but if you don't want to do that, I think the riva cones have a bigger hole and might work. You'd need to check with a vendor or ask here about that.

Edit: I think the adapter would let you use your 808 stuff on the ego.

Thanks JD1 for the quick/helpful response, I also just read from a few people having to grind down the cone to fit around the clearomizers, I also found this woman that said (FYI put on clearomizer then cone) and apparently it fits right. I wont know till i order my joye ego or fs-ego. Which would you recommend the joye ego or fs ego?

ah yes I will also pick up an adapter to use 510 clearomizers on my 901 usb passthrough thanks for clearing that up if i misunderstood the initial response to my post.

You might want to check, I think some FS egos and FS 510's are reverse polarity. Meaning you can only charge FS egos on the charger they come with, and you can't charge other ego batteries on that charger. Check where your purchasing the kit.

I never use cones, for me they make the draw harder.

Swedish is correct. FS is REVERSE polarity. This means if you ever use the fs charger on a normal ego, the battery will short out immediately. Same will happen if you try to charge a real ego on an fs charger.

no experience with a fs, but I use the ce2s on my mega and ego-t batteries...works fine but ego cone will not fit over the plastic tubing ( too thick unlike the atomizers )
