I was on the Super-T website to look at their Precise, but was side tracked by sales on two different Joye eGo kits. The price is tempting me to buy one just to get a couple spare batteries and backup charger for my eGo. But I'm confused about the product descriptions re: Type A Cone atomizers.

The Joye eGo-T kit says it comes with an eGo-T Mega Atomizer type A cone and eGo-T semi-transparent cartridges.

The Joye eGo kit says it comes with a Joye Type A Cone Mega Atomizer and Type A cartridges.

I asked Super-T what the difference between the two kits are as they both 'sounded' the same to me (...I'm still on the learning curve about all this...). Dave replied:

"The atomizers are different between the ego and the ego t- The ego has an exposed heating element, the EGo T atomizer contains a seperater and an insertion nipple that inserts into the cartridge."

I thought there was only the Type A cone atomizer and the Type B cylindrical atomizer for the Joye eGo 'tank' models. I didn't know there were 2 variations of the Type A - if I understand what Dave of Super-T is trying to tell me. I'm using a Joye eGo with cartos and sometimes carts/510 atomizers.

If anyone understands my post and confusion can you please help set me straight? Are the two variations of a Type A cone atomizer? Thanks

The ego-t has a tank cartridge. It's an empty container that you fill with the liquid. The atty's have a spike between the opening and the coil that punctures the fill cap on the tank when you first insert it into the atty. Also, that spike has a wick in the middle (it's hollow) that delivers your liquid down to the coil when you vape.

I'm not going into the regular ego since you already have one and know what it's all about. I'm guessing that the tank holds more liquid than the regular ego cartridge with all the filling.

+1 on buying a kit for spare parts. If you plan to stick with a system, it sure makes sense to buy a kit. Especially with the Ego-T, because those atomizers are 15 bucks a piece, and the kit is 40 bucks. That's only 10 bucks more for a couple extra batteries, some tanks, and an extra charging kit.

Oh, and I think the type a or b is just a difference in the size, for both ego or ego-t. You can't interchange type a and b parts.
