I def think there is variability in the quality. A couple of them feel like sucking an egg through a straw, even after a good cleaning and freeing up the tiny hole at the base of the threads. Really disappointed. I also had problems with the Joye 510. Beginning to think that the supplier is not sourcing "good" gear.

Vendors sell the eGo-T because people want them and some people really like them. It's really not the fault of the vendor so much. I think the tank system should have gone through more beta testing to iron out the kinks, IMO. This isn't the first time a product has been pushed through to the market with a lot of hype that turned out to be not so great. It's not a complete wash, though. Like Stownz said, get yourself some dual coils and I think that will make a big difference.

Its n not the atomizer that's a fail...it the TANK system that's a fail. The tank sucks and doesn't get the juice to the atty well. Then the wick gets dry...then you end up burning up the wick, then atty is junk. The Ego-T didn't inspire its own facefook page called EGO-T FAIL! for nothing LOL

Seriously? There's a FB page for that? That's a lot of hate right there!

Okay, so I found this 510 Dual Coil Cartomizers - Steel and they ship to Ireland. There is a specific reference to the battery. I'm not lazy, believe me, but would somebody kindly tell me type of battery I need for this and anything else I need to know in advance of placing an order. I'm bewildered by options and combinations. I'm really thrilled I've come to this forum. The temptation to go back to analogues is dwindling again.

between here and there
Those cartomizers will fit on an ego.......so you don't need to buy another battery....:)

edit.....you may want to look for reg 510 cartomizers instead....these you listed are for higher voltage than the eGo....if you buy them, don't burn them too hot or they will pop.

The cartomizers won't exactly pop, but they could ruin the switch in the battery. The eGo uses a MOSFET type switch that could be ruined by using the dual coils. However, there are many people here who are using these with the eGo/Riva type batteries and haven't had any problems. Like Sugar said, don't run them too hot by power vaping. If the carto feels hot, then let it cool down before you use it again. It also helps to have a couple of different batteries set up so you aren't using one too much.

Cheers, I'll order the 510 cartomizers and I'll carefully try out the Dual Coil also.
