Either will offer you VV as well as VW.

The Evic is cool since you can upgrade the firmware it uses, but it's still not quite there yet.

The Vamo has a super simple menu, and is really accurate in RMS mode.

They have improved the spring because the first models were rather weak. The gunmetal finish doesn't hold up well so I wouldn't recommend that finish.

I bought a Vamo because it had great reviews, I wanted to try out VW, and it was super cheap. I love it and have another in Stainless steel on the way.

I'm on a new VV kick after receiving my ego-c twist battery yesterday & I'm ready to take the plunge again! What are your thoughts on these? Which would you buy? Also... Does anyone know anything about the VariMax from vaporbeast?
Thanks!

personally, id get the vamo because its on sale as low as forty bucks (vapor bank).

but if cash were not of great concern, id get the eVic.

edit: i havent seen any reviews on the evic, so my opinion would probably change based on what you guys are saying.
(i really gotta get back into reading the entire thread befofre posting  )

Thanks everyone! Sounds like most of you would lean towards the Vamo! That's mainly the one I've been leaning towards. But wanted to get some thoughts from people who are more experienced than me. I'm gonna try my best to make this my last purchase for a little while. I see why people have so many different mods. It doesn't help that I'm the type of person who has an addictive personality & a need to want to try everything. Lol!

and what do people with this type of personality do? they come here and drop themselves into the middle of a pack of enablers lol

the vamo is well made and really surprised everyone.

VAMO VAMO VAMO. i love mine, i got the regular chrome finish because it goes perfect with my Vision Eternity RBA.

my local vape shop had a 10% off anything in store sale for x-mas and i got out of there with an Efest IMR 18650 Chrome VAMO and a trustfire multi-charger for under 75 bucks.... you can't beat that for a device that has----

Multiple Battery Configurations
Variable Voltage
Variable Wattage
built in ohm meter
displays remaining battery voltage
510 connection with overdrip well
and 5 click on off

now i found that with an IMR 18650 the battery had some play, not enough for me to get constant annoying disconnects BUT it was there. I solved this with a Panasonic CGR 18650 as it and the Sanyo hybrid batteries fit super snug (i believe the sanyo and samsung do as well cannot confirm though) with any old 18350 stacked there is no play, and the voltage regulation delivers true voltage up to the 6 volts the device permits.

on the other hand i do not have any experience with the eVic but reviews from people i trust on youtube to give unbiased hype free reviews seem to put Joyetech's newest addition kind of behind in quality...

that being said anything, i mean ANYTHING that keeps you off analogs and works for you is better than the rest. I mean if going outside and running full speed nads first into a stop sign pole kept you off the analogs i would suggest it fully.

Vamo perfect price and packed with premium features. Ordered it and going crazy from waiting...

eVic It looks sexy and futuristic but that's about it. Has too many issues and poorly designed UI. Marketed as different device, not one that is sold. Build quality is cheap. Premium for puff statistics is not for me, don't need it at all in any form.
