Got mine in today. The flavor is much better than I expected. The draw is about right -- it could be a little more open but I am typically a MTL guy anyway.

Cons:

Doesn't work with TC. Using a DNA200 and I have to set it to the max (600F) to get any vapor out of it. I have tried the TFR curve as well as two different TCR values (.00088 and .00094). Same thing with both. The only explanation I can think of is they are not using 316 as they claim. I have no problem with 316 when I build a coil myself with KNOWN 316 wire. Unfortunately this tank doesn't have an RBA so I can't do that.

Anyone had any luck with TC?

EDIT: OK, so I just tried the TFR curve for 304 SS and it works better, but still seems to be underpowered. I am betting they are using some funky SS wire from the factory that really is not 316 as they claim, but probably 304 or even some other grade.

Oy. Installed the 1.5 clapton and it flooded. The flavor was good until it started spewing hot magma onto my tongue. No idea what caused the flooding as I kept the juice level under the Max line when filling.
What wattage were you vaping it at?

Sounds like you just weren't running enough heat thru it to completely vaporize the liquid. Glad it's working for you now I just ordered one of these and Can't wait to try it. How's the flavor?

The flavor's pretty good. Not sure where I'd rank it compared to other tanks. To me, it's at least as good as the Sub Tank Mini and might be a bit better. It's not dripper level but it's certainly enjoyable and as long as the flooding isn't a constant issue it'll stay in my rotation.

STM's have been my go to tanks for about a year now. I only use the RBA deck and build my own coils. I've tried a multitude of sub tanks looking for a replacement (not sure why) I like the looks and design of the cubis and I'm ready for a good stock coil device that I can vape at 20w that's easy to fill and doesn't leak

That's exactly why I bought the Cubis. I was hoping to use it on my newly acquired Mini Volt but it's a bit big (with the drip tip it's actually a bit taller than the Mini Volt) to make a good stealthy combo. It's parked on my IPVD2 and it'll probably stay there for now.

Just got the Cubis (and Cuboid). Looks great, working great so far. I have been enjoying the .5 coil very much. Nice airflow, similar to my 1st gen Subtank Mini fully open, maybe just a little tighter than that. It is a bit shorter in height than the Subtank, too which is a nice surprise. So far I have just been using it in VW mode on an iStick 40TC (waiting for batteries to charge for Cuboid), and it is at least as good as the STM if not better.
80%vg "Rob" from Mt Baker seems to be flowing nicely ranging from 20w to about 35+ where it starts to taste a little weird.
Anybody know if I can use SS coils in either the Ni or Ti TC modes on the iStick?

Also got one for my GF who will likely try the Clapton when she gets home. Actually, I am going to insist she does since I want to try it but don't want soggy coils that have been used for like an hour laying around. She only started subohming at Christmas with a Subtank, and loves the relative simplicity and better flavor compared to say a Genitank (with the 1 ohm cotton coils - too much wattage guesswork to avoid burned cotton with those). Curious to see how she likes the Cubis since it seems even more simple with top-fill.

I am a subtank mini guy too and I still think it edges out the Cubis in flavor. They are about the same in vapor production.

However, the Cubis looks better, is easier to fill and DOESN'T LEAK. The leakage is the main downfall of the STM so it's nice to have a tank that simply cannot leak by design. (And, yes, I have 3 STM's and they all leak sooner or later, especially if left on a mod overnight).

My advice is to buy one and try it. For around $20, you can't go wrong.

Update after a day or so...

Still digging the .5 coil. Now using it on the cuboid in temp control (ss316) and it is consistent, no leaks, easy refills... no complaints whatsoever.
GF has been using the 1.5 clapton and while the flavor & output are good, it has a tighter draw than I expected. Air flow is similar to a small coil tank like my genitank. I think that might be what Joyetech was aiming for - subohm-like flavor with a more traditional "feel".

So... where can I get replacement coils?

Got my cubis in the mail today. Very nice little tank. Build quality is great and it couldn't be any easier to fill. I'm trying the 1.5 clapton coil first. Been awhile since I've had such a satisfying mtl vape. Can't wait to try the other two coils. Too soon to know if this will retire my STMs but it's looking good so far.

Question for those of you with both a Cubis and either a Cubiod or VTC Mini.
When using the 0.5Ω SS coil, I get a very good vape using the SS316 setting. If I use the manual TCR setting of 0092 (which I'm told is the correct TCR for SS316) the vape is almost non existent. Same wattage and temp are used. Can anyone else verify this?
Thanks.
