The black TFV4 with the black rubber band looks good on my black Cuboid however I'd like a RED one to match my red vtc mini!
The bottom of my black is already scuffed up. Very poor finish (for those of you who care about that - I don't).
I am so surprised because the finish on the VTC Mini has been great for me, and I would have thought they would have the same materials and finish. My black Cuboid has bare spots on the bottom after only a week and I set it down like it was some fine crystal artwork!
Where did you get he silicone sleeve. I did see 2 different designs on Ebay. One covers part of the top of the mod and the bottom is completely open. The other doesn't cover any of the top but has a lip around the bottom edge. My black Cuboid has bare spots on the bottom after only a week and I set it down like it was some fine crystal artwork!
Have you tried different atty? Some positive pins are wonky. My herakles was saying short on my vtc mini, but was fine on my ipv4. Turned out the pos pin was just a bit too flush for the vtc mini. I put a few drops of silver solder on the pos pin, filed it flat and round, and its good on all my devices now. Hope that helps. So is anybody having any issues with their Cuboid? I've been using mine and have been having problems with it reading resistances properly. I did a 5 wrap 316L on a 3mm ID and it was saying "atty short" on the screen. I unscrewed the atty and reseated it and sometimes is would show the same message while others it would show resistances all over the board until I pressed the fire button and then it would show "atty short" again. I put the same atty on my VTC mini and it shows .75ohms every time. Something is wrong with the cuboid.
Strange thing is it worked fine for 3 days.Have you tried different atty? Some positive pins are wonky. My herakles was saying short on my vtc mini, but was fine on my ipv4. Joyetech 510s can be unreliable at times, are very shallow, and absolutely do not like to have an atty forced on them. Attys with longer 510s will often show a short as the center pin will bottom out and roll off to the side. Back off a half turn & see what happens.Strange thing is it worked fine for 3 days.
Ok, I'll try that and see what happens.Joyetech 510s can be unreliable at times, are very shallow, and absolutely do not like to have an atty forced on them.
