Well from what I'm picking up from this thread is the Cuboid is not all that. I don't get why JT can't build a better 510. I have problems with my VTCminis too that a small vinyl washer fixed under the atty since I use STM's pretty much all the time. I was thinking about the cuboid to get a couple more cheapos to have around but sounds like that is not the one to get. PB gave it a good review. My VTC's work just fine with the washer but not looking at getting another with the same problem. Maybe I'll look at the IPV5.

Here's some good info on 510 length's of different devices you might be interested in seeing: http://www.djlsbvapes.com/510-connectors-length/

It's kinda a matter of opinion whether the Joyetech/Wismec/Eleaf 510 is to shallow or the 510 pin of atties like the tfv4 and the Gemini is too long. All my atties sit flush on my devices so I tend to be of the second opinion :)

But seriously, yes, the 510 connector should have more travel. I personally simply haven't had any problems with the atties I use.

I do not have any problems with my TFV4 on ANY,of my Cuboids. I do not understand what the fuss is with the Cuboid and the 510 it uses?? I do not have any problems with the small exception of the Cuboid jumping from TC to Wattage mode. This only happens with one Atty of mine though not all of them.

Mine does the same thing: the left drains a little faster than right. If I swap the batteries (left to the right position and vice versa) then the right will show a slightly lower charge level. When I put the batteries on my Luc V4 charger there seems to be a <.1 volt difference between the two batteries that balances out in about 5 seconds. I'm not worried about it.
I have wondered if it wasn't, at least in part, caused by the circuit board trying to give separate charge values for two batteries directly connected in series.
Mine does NOT get warm when off. I have no idea about that. :2c:

also, gonna add /facepalm
WHY why why why why???? why would they choose to release a firmware update with a game?

Because the JoyeTech/Wismec/eLeaf marketing team cited that according to a survey done by money.com, children's taste varied to greatly to include a candy, so their first choice was overruled and the choice was made to add a game to the firmware. Link for the money.com candy survey --> Which Candy Should You Buy for Halloween?

BTW, their still planning on releasing the Power Ranger edition of Colors for the all new RX75, as soon as the licensing deal is done!

What atty is it that you have this problem with? I have the SAME issue with the RX200, my TFTv4 works fine, but the Gemini 22mm RTA does NOT.

Interestingly and NOT surprising, the Gemini 22mm RTA is listed as having a 5.6mm 510 including the thread, and the pin. That makes it the longest in the list!!!!

I saw that. Great link. Thanks for sharing!

Still can't believe a deeper 510 connector would add even fifty cents though. Poor thought in the design or material acquisition in my sorry opinion.

I agree.... I'd pay an extra couple of dollars for a good 510 connection, as opposed to being forced to use washers/spacers/510 heat sinks just to get certain attys to work!

I have an RX200, I WAS thinking about selling it and getting the RX200s, and I still may, but I'm also getting rid of the Gemini 22mm RTA, since it's really no better than the Griffin, and I have three of them....

Worse yet, it appears the new Smok Quantum 80W TC is using a Joyetech like 510, aka stiff and shallow!!!!

Seems like a nice mod otherwise... I'm also wondering about the NEW Wismec/Jaybo/Twisted420 RX75.... same old 510???? No, not a DNA, still same Joyetech chip, but quite a unique design, with a flap/cover hinged over the screen.....

i'm keeping mine. I like the way it vapes and it will be a good "test" for any future mod I look at.
I'm also wondering about the NEW Wismec/Jaybo/Twisted420 RX75....
How on earth did you find this? It is not even on the Wismec site yet and I don't see a single vendor stocking it yet.
