you know when you talk about looks that is a totally subjective comment, right? so you don't like the looks but how does it perform? people who buy it already like the looks . on the factual side- it is smaller than the subtank with a lot less glass area exposed. it is the same size as the atlantis again with a lot less glass exposed. the fact is the atlantis and subtank both have glass tubes you have to keep track of , while the delta's glass is part of the top tank and less prone to mishandling or breakage. i think flavor-wise it is a little bit more intense than the subtank and a lot better than the atlantis. joyetech makes some fine coils and subjectively, i think they are the best pre-built subohm coils so far. i haven't vaped it as long as the other two but my initial opinion is this is the best of the three where it counts for me- taste. it definitely is promising and i will enjoy spending time trying to find my own"sweetspot" as far as watts and airflow.
it certainly looks right at home on my silver sx mini. looks like another fine entry in the subohm clearo market and a welcome addition. isn't competition great?.....

I agree that it is not a bad looking tank but stll a pain to fill compared to either the Subtank or Atlantis. And since the windows are not directly across from one another it is nearly impossible to see how much juice is in the tank as you cannot get any light to shine directly through it. They should have just put two sets of the slits (cut-outs) 180 degrees apart. Besides that, it's OK. Well, except for the whistling, and the expensive coils, and no RBA included. Other than that, it's perfect.

I prefer the Subtank.

Its been answered here unfortunately.....as its my fav tank and I have two so still not sure what to make of this for I am starting to rebuild but I have a box of new coils and sometimes its good to have them to resort to.

And i was JUST saying to the hubby, since i use Jugheads Juice, "Kapt Larrys Krunch" that on an Aspire Nautilus coil, being as sweet as it is, on those i sometimes had to change them every 9 days, but on this Delta ll, today is the first time in a full month that i am thinking i might be close to needing to change it.
Yes a full month for me was un heard of.....

But...

Yes, it is more difficult to fill due to it being dark, not enough window space between the steel parts so although not a problem for me as I work at home, i wouldnt want to be filling it in a dark bar...lol

But I can live with that.

You should use the RBA. I havent even used the LVC coils that came with my Delta, only the RBA. That said, I don't even care for my Delta II really. Flavor is definitely muted compared to the Subtank Mini also with RBA.

I have to pick up 2 decks tomorrow. For some reason when i bought it i didnt realize they were sold seperately and tomorrow is the first time I have a chance to get back to that store, then I will.
But even when I do I will occassionally switch back. Or would have. After reading that I might not as much as I would have had it been 100% cotton so I am not happy to find that out as I do like having the choice.

As for the taste I find no one seems to agree on this and some say its better on the Delta and others the Subtank.
I really need to find some time next week to sit down and test both with the same juice in the two iStick 50w I have and then I can answer better as to which one I think wins in that department but even then, 1/2 the people I speak to will say Delta and the other 1/2, subtank mini.

So six of one and half a dozen of the other. :) I have both coming from a co-op. I'm sure they will both be good performers. We're getting so picky :)

Sounds like you can make your own mind up but others can't do it for you  That's why I bought both. :)

I wasted a ton of money being new to Vaping. Probably $300. I was predominantly a Dip Tobacco user. I started with a cheap VUSE Ecig. Still Dipped. I only smoked cigarettes socially and when drinking. I'm diabetic and alcoholism threw me into near fatal diabetic KetoAcidocis, so I don't drink now. I rushed into my local Vape Shop and got a cheap Pen Mod, and began to be a regular, it's a Vaping Bar too. I moved up and up... iStick Mini to 20w to 30w... More and more $$$... I was about to go to a 50w and decided what am I doing? I better get a handle on my finances. So thanks to the Internet, I started studying. Thanks to TVC! I'm going to stop where I'm at. Since I don't miss the heat of a cigarette, and my current 30w iStick is doing the job.
The Delta II is the perfect Tank. And I can't personally justify any more spending on equipment. I have 2 of them. My first one was a gift. The only thing I want is another non metal tip for it. I can taste the metal w the stock tip. I may buy a 3rd Delta II because I change Flavors often through the day. But see there I go again... I've got a MELO Sub Ohm Tank too, and a Aspire Nautilus Mini for Cheaper juices at low wattage. I'm glad I took the time to look at the Internet and watch TVC videos. Just my personal opinion only. The Eleaf iStick 30w is as high as I need to go. I do run it full tilt on certain juices for max flavor. I'm hoping a new Vaper or few see this so they don't go into the poor house like me. That's why I went into detail... At some point you just have to step back and remind yourself you don't have to keep up with everyone in the Vape Bar. Just Vape your way and be happy. I hope this was helpful. And the Delta II in my opinion The Best Overall Tank out there. Happy Vaping...

I feel your pain man. My wife does that to me all the time. I also agree with your tank analysis. Spot on my friend.

LAMO

You should be on my end.
Hubby is sooo predictable.
Its the same deal every time.

I order something and have to listen to him complain about the money we are spending on it, understanding that even if i spent $0.02 hed still complain about spending it..lol..........and sometimes even gets angry.

Few days later, Vape mail arrives and one look and he falls in love and confiscates item for his own causing me to go back and re-order but this time he does not complain because he loves it and its his. :)

Until I order a new item all together and the same thing happens all over again

Agree with everything you have said about the Delta II vrs the Subtank. I have 2 of each for my own and like both for different reasons BUT having had the deltas aabout 2 months or so now, am getting the occassional hits where i get only air. Not sure if the buttons connecting but i think its less to do with the mod and more to do with the tank but just got here, laughed at your message, glad to see i am not the only ones whose goods are confiscated and am on to hunt down this air problem.

Dont get the iStick 50w.

One already has died on me and a second one is startig to do the same as the first and many are havig the same problem.
Not too long after peple are getting them, the botton is having problems and more and more you press it and inhale nothing but air.

Somewhere in this forum i saw someone else that said hes seeing more and more of them on his bench and the fix requires a shim put into it but its not something just anyone can do.
Certaiinly not I.
I just paid $30 on FT for a Kanger 40w and great reviews about it abound.

I paid $100 for a Seigeli for a 100w and I find it too big in my hand...i like the round style the best and just going mech mod next an not have to deal with the inside chips, etc.
Figured you can go two ways, spend good money and get one here from a Greek fellow leo I think his name is for his pieces are beautiful and the best from all I have heard and/or supplement those with cheapies off of FT so that if they break, who cares at $20...its the tanks that im finicky about....but everyone feels differently i assume

look into things as there are several ways to go about it all but, i do spend money and enjoy doing so but when its tight, then its not much fun if a piece breaks, hence,if you get into it and are handy with tools, there are a million ways to do it inexpensively

Did you get your black delta ll yet? Still waiting for that pic! Lol

Hows the black one?
Anyone know?
Is it exactly the same but just black?

I have 2 Deltas and LOVE them for taste...although they do suck back a lot of juice :)

So far, although my experience is limited, my fav tank.

As far as bein the same , I think they are. I should get mine with the ST Mini in a week. I plan to sell them cause I'm lovin the GS Airs for flavor, cloud and fair on the juice use. Got a GS Air M comin Monday and if it's as good as I hear, I'll just get a few of them. Also getting rid of my Roses. :)

The GS Airs don't have rebuild decks but I do rebuild the BDCs in them. I've done .6 to 1 ohm and like the 1 ohm. I use 30s 50s and a VaporShark DNA 40. I had a 50 go BLS on me :) But they have a 90 day warranty
