As to the tank, I have the ego one mega, it came with my evic vt....I've had none of those issues. The only issue I've had is with the premade Ni and Ti cl coils...they choke off because the wick holes are too small.....but I got the cl-r coils, and the tank works great. Do yourself a favour before writing the tank off......try the rebuildable cl-r coils in itAs far as issues...
the mega: button board broke and is stuck firing, the tank is pressfit and leaks out of the top of the chimney, as well as the chimney design itself completely covers the coils and chokes them till they burn.
The 1100mah: stopped charging (faulty usb soldering?) And the tank also is pressfit, the chimney was fit in at an angle chasing a gap for air and leakage, also because of the crooked chimney it causes the coils to grab to it every time you refill you have to rescue in your coil.
The 2200 mah black version: usb port broke off in the housing, and the tank has the same issues as the 1100mah, also pressfit, the 510 threading "popped off" the tank making it useless.
All 3 are authentic and checked out via scratch and sniff.
I like the concept of this version, but I can't trust joyetech with these ego ones.
I'll update once I know more.Perfect, I've been looking to replace my Ego One so I'll be waiting for TC version, any word on when yet??? I like the Lavatube but don't like the 26mm, this should be perfect for me, I can't wait!
From what I know I believe it will have 3 output levels. So it looks like one temp according to the website based on the coil used? Interesting concept but I don't really see the point then unless I'm missing something?

True, with a tank it's not particularly pricey (particularly compared to prices just a year ago). Waiting to see what it would be without a tank. Should really be in the range of the istick 40, or even cheaper.I'll know that once I have it probed. I don't view $49 as pricey, specially when you consider the average tank is $30+, and this is an all in one package with a simple design. It's something I'll suggest to beginners who want to try TC if it works well.
