joyetech has a new version of the popular ego one coming out out seems. All I know so far is what this picture shows, but a simple to operate mod like the ego one, with temp control? With both Ni and Ti support? Bound to be popular.....

As far as issues...
the mega: button board broke and is stuck firing, the tank is pressfit and leaks out of the top of the chimney, as well as the chimney design itself completely covers the coils and chokes them till they burn.
The 1100mah: stopped charging (faulty usb soldering?) And the tank also is pressfit, the chimney was fit in at an angle chasing a gap for air and leakage, also because of the crooked chimney it causes the coils to grab to it every time you refill you have to rescue in your coil.

The 2200 mah black version: usb port broke off in the housing, and the tank has the same issues as the 1100mah, also pressfit, the 510 threading "popped off" the tank making it useless.

All 3 are authentic and checked out via scratch and sniff.

I like the concept of this version, but I can't trust joyetech with these ego ones.

As to the tank, I have the ego one mega, it came with my evic vt....I've had none of those issues. The only issue I've had is with the premade Ni and Ti cl coils...they choke off because the wick holes are too small.....but I got the cl-r coils, and the tank works great. Do yourself a favour before writing the tank off......try the rebuildable cl-r coils in it

Oh I have the clr coils. It's just the design of the tank that has me irked.

The mega has ben sitting upside down on my desk with no driptip for the last 2 weeks. All the juice that was in it, leaked out thru the gap in the chimney from being pressfit and all over my desk.

Had to put the clr coils to good use, and have ben using them with the CL base on this egrip.

As I said, it was shoddy qc. Again could of ben a bad batch, as I bought them all the week they were released. Maybe they didn't work out all the kinks until recently when they paired the mega with the evic?

I dunno. But I refuse to buy another ego one.

Perfect, I've been looking to replace my Ego One so I'll be waiting for TC version, any word on when yet??? I like the Lavatube but don't like the 26mm, this should be perfect for me, I can't wait!
I'll update once I know more.
I'll also update once I have one in my hands with impressions functionality etc..

So it looks like one temp according to the website based on the coil used? Interesting concept but I don't really see the point then unless I'm missing something?
From what I know I believe it will have 3 output levels.
I'll get a probe on it to find out what the temp settings of those levels are

I've been missing tube mods so this would be nice. Also, I could live with one device (as I have many others) with limited settings. Have it at 420 (as long as it's accurate) and set wattage (as long as there's no annoying pulsing when the temp limit is reached) and I'd be very happy. Just point and click :)

A bit pricey in my opinion (plus I really don't want another Ego One Mega tank). I suspect that it'll be underpowered, seeing as the lowest setting is 430f and the highest 600f (where one'll - I at least - start having problems with burnt taste on an accurate tc mod).

I'll know that once I have it probed. I don't view $49 as pricey, specially when you consider the average tank is $30+, and this is an all in one package with a simple design. It's something I'll suggest to beginners who want to try TC if it works well.

True, with a tank it's not particularly pricey (particularly compared to prices just a year ago). Waiting to see what it would be without a tank. Should really be in the range of the istick 40, or even cheaper.
