It is. So far it seems perfect for the target consumers......beginning vapers, who want more then the regular starter sets can provide. Decent output, without all the set up and knowledge needed for more advanced devices. Then when they want to step up a tad...it works well with an rta like the kayfun v4 (that's how I've mostly been using it)

The only thing I'm worried about is how and when it sets the base line resistance in TC mode. Is that made clear in the documentation? I'm worried that there is a risk of the baseline resistance being reset without the user knowing and then operate in an unsafe way.

Base line is set when you screw on the atty.... need to make sure coil is at room temp.

So if you vape you tank dry, take off the atty to refill, then reattach it before the coil has cooled does it register a new baseline resistance or does it recognize it as the same coil as before?

If it registers a new baseline resistance it could be dangerous.

Just did an experiment by vaping to raise the coil temp, unscrewing the atty, then re-attaching it......output seems stable and equal to before.....so not positive but it seemed to remember the coil

Mine arrived a day early! As promised, it is 100% idiot proof for us first timers trying TC. @Vera , you need to advertise this mod as training wheels for anyone wanting to try TC without fear!

Seriously..all you do is pick a coil, click to pick the matching mode, and push to fire. It's really that simple! The hardest part was finding my glasses to read the marks, but that's my fault! I LOVE THIS!!!!

So I.haven't hooked up my temp probe yet, but after using this for awhile on tanks I'm familiar with, I will say that in temp mode....subjectively, the temp is lower then spec.....mid setting feels more like the 430 degrees that low setting should be.......BUT, that to me is a good thing. Where I generally vape TC in the 420-450 range, many don't like it that warm, so I didn't understand the range they selected.....
Mid level setting seems to fit me well

Just wondering if you could do a dry burn test on low, mid and high setting and see if the temp control is consistent and working.

Would love to hear the results and I'm looking forward to buying this and maybe swapping the tank out with my kayfun v4

On the joyetech website, they didn't publish the watts that is pushing through the temp coils.. So I think this varies with different resistance ? Hmm they didn't do a great job in stating the specs although I understand most new vapers won't be able to take all that in

In the last column, the high and.low numbers are reversed.
