Hope this isn't too off topic, but is there any kind of lanyard that will work with this? I've watched the video and it's hard for me to tell just how big this thing really is. I can make a lanyard, but I don't want it to look like I have a maglite hanging from my neck

My eGO batteries have just about had it, just waiting on payday to order one of these bad boys. Oh, and also, will my regular plain old eGO usb charger work with this?

Thanks!

Hi :)...yes I already have the white colored tubes but was waiting to put them up until the remainder arrive.

And yes we do now have up in the category both Sanyo 2600mah 18650 and Joyetech 2200mah 19650 batteries for these available : )

And the chargers too? The kind you put the batteries into. The ego type charger to me defeats the purpose of having a mod unless there is something i'm missing.

We do not have Trust fire chargers although we are getting soem trust fire chargers when our Vmax kits come in. But the nice thing about beign able to charge in the mod is just the convenience...many people already have ego chargers and have spare ego batteries, so they have a back up while their rmod is charging. Its just a personal issue at least with me. I always have hated finding my charging setups, unloading the batteries, loading them up in a charger, and on and on. I know it may seem counter intuitive but alot of peopel like havign that dual regulated/unregulated set up and have extra ego batts anyway...

Oh no, I Love the idea of the ego t mod. I just meant if you have to put the mod on the charger, it sort of defeated the purpose to me of having batts you can take out. But yeah I do see your point about already having backup ego batts. I just really like the idea of taking out a rechargeable batt, popping in a charged one, and I'm off. lol so very glad y'all will be getting the chargers in soon and have the batts now.

EEEEEYO, ok folks finally found the forum that i think can answer this question 4 me. So.. ego-t mod or twist 1000mah? I know I know getem both, but married with children=no money, what im torn between is im wanting a vv but also want a bigger batt. The standerd 650mah ego-c bats have been good 2 me but i find im going thru about 3 a day. Maybe its cuz the ego is damn near glued to my hand every time i see it ill vape :)

Hiya Billy. Really no one can answer that for ya, cept you. Maybe make a list of pros and cons

Start with, how badly do you want a vv. If you're going through 650 mah 3x/day, chances are the 1100 mah may not get you through the day, so you'd be looking at going back to 650 for back up while the twist charges.

If the twist goes out (any part of it) you replace the whole thing. With the ego T mod, you can replace just batteries for cheap. You can replace the head for cheap etc. And larger mah batts will certainly get you through the day.

The twist is a very inexpensive way to get a vv device. So really which is more important. VV now, or something that will get you through the day, and maybe save up for a vv mod.

What type of juice holders do you use? Unless you're using higher resistance things, not sure if vv will help you all that much.

I apologize if this isn't the place to ask this, but the eGO T upgrade is so new, there aren't really any other discussions going on about it.

My question is this. How long is it taking you guys to charge the thing? Mine has been on the eGO USB charger for 8 hours now and still isn't charged.

It will depend on 2 things... the mah rating of the charger you are using ( probably 420 or 500 depending on which charger you got ) and the mah capacity of the battery you have as well as how much remaining charge that battery has in it...

A typical 1000mah eGo battery using the 500mah charger should take around 3 hrs to recharge the battery... Then if you have a 2000mah 18650, should take around 6hrs... a 2650mah 18650 battery probably closer to 8hrs or so. If this is being charged from the wall adapter.

If you get a stand alone charger that can provide around 1000mah for a battery... just a couple of hours more or less again depending on the capacity of the battery being charged.
