I have some pics of my third attempt with the Vapor Skinz mahogany skin on the beat up eGrip - looks better this time around, it all hinges on where you start - forget exactly where I started with the first two tries, one was def on the watt dial side, but the overlap at finish was totally noticeable. This time I started on the fill hatch side, and when looking at it from the fill hatch side, applied the left side first, then the right, then wrap around the watt wheel, then finish.

I also noticed that the pics I uploaded above got resized / low rezzed - I don't have anywhere else to host pics, so trying to see if inline attaching will work here:

3 more - oh well, better'n nuthin - I tried different light and angles to show the texture and color. I kinda understand where the seam ends up - in a right handed person, the seam isn't in the palm. But yer looking at all the time :p

But the cutouts are all very well done, only nitpick (that I know would be difficult too) would be the wrap into the indentations for the tank window. A thinner skin would do that, but then you lose the texture, which really helps a lot with the fingerprints / smudges, which the factory finish shows a lot.

Cignot has silicone covers. ..

I gots one. And if case you wanted to know - yes they are opaque enough that the camo body doesn't show through the silicone. At least not on the blue one.

However - the openings for the switch & fill port are cut on the large side - so you can't avoid seeing the finish underneath in those areas. So I choose not to look there. :p

Interesting finish, but kind of hard to describe. Something like "satin silicone". Very fondle-y. It's not that nassty grabby silicone feel.

I love the feeling of these - but, I do find when I take them off there's smeary juice inside!

GRR…my stupid tracking is STILL claiming "Pre-Shipment". I am rather obsessively checking it, hoping that it will have updated itself, but no luck. Fingers crossed it makes it here tomorrow (or soon anyway) and isn't lost in the Bermuda Triangle somewhere. :D

I think it's time to e-mail Vicky through the web site about it. Something seems to have gone wrong at the Post Orifice.

Kind of normal for USPS, it's "delivery confirmation" with first class mail :). Might be already on its way. I've had the same status, then all of a sudden, Delivered!

Got some vape mail today. This thing is the cat's pajamas so far. Got a little gurgling when I filled it all the way. Turned it upside down and fired it a few times and it cleared. It fits great in an old dumb phone case with nothing sticking out to break off. Fits on my belt like it grew there. A couple of things could be better on it, like the wattage markings, but nothing is perfect. Great vapor, flavor is ok. I may have to have another one lol. The wood grain finish is nice. Nice and hefty feel without being heavy. Super great firing button. I don't think there's a need to turn it off to put it in the phone case. Somebody asked about small hands. Mine are definitely small and it fits perfect. I've heard complaints about the built in tank being hard to clean. I plan to use a 20ml syringe, fill it about half way, shake it and drain. Next do the same with vodka or rum and refill. Nbd.

Here is another picture along side an eGo One... I know, I know another new thing.

Hey Vicky, The size of that Ego One tank caught my attention last week! Do you expect them to come out with an RBA for it? It looks sweet, but I don't want sub-ohm. The RBA is so much better than the Egrip heads, it makes me wonder/hope... The dimensions look perfect for the istick mini! But why only sub-ohm? What am I missing?

I am not so sure an rba would be needed with this. I am a mouth to lung and not too hot because I use 25, vaper.... the .5 was not comfortable and the 1 ohm was very comparable to the eGrip rba.

I took one apart this morning and these are vertical coils surrounded by a fibrous material (I did not pick it apart because I did not want to destroy a perfectly good atty) The top and bottom are simply trapped by pressfit pieces... so I am not so sure you could not rebuild as it sits... perhaps I will try and put a higher ohm coil in the .5 just for grins. I will let you know.

The Voltage is not adjustable on this, I would guess that is the reason for the sub-ohm thing.
