I've chained holding it the way I held a freshly lit smoke... not one about to go out of course. And the heat thing has been exaggerated by reviewers (?) over time somehow. The heat can be uncomfortable but certainly not enough to cause a burn such as touching an electric stove burner. I've definitely been accidentally burned by a smoke a few times and the eroll never gets hot enough to do that... at least not with a genuine Joye atty. I don't know about clones. And, of course, I've put a hole in anything I dropped a lit smoke on. The eroll never, ever, gets hot enough to do that.

Also, I've touched my ego c with carto and clearo and it gets hot too. I just don't usually realize it as they're manuals and large so I never come in contact with the atty area. Anything that produces enough heat to vaporize is going to be hot to the touch. ;-)

Well, I'm stocked up now! I have only been vaping for a few weeks. I started with Logic platinums from the gas station, and then got an eRoll. I am very happy with it, and plan to keep it as my long term hardware. I found a good sale on kit parts last week, and stocked up with an extra PCC, 4 extra batts, 10 atomizers, 20 tanks, and 4 atty cones. All of that should last me a while. I am still looking for my perfect liquid. I have been using some dekang tobacco variations, but have also ordered from word-up e cig. No nirvana yet, but just placed an order with Mt Baker. I'm having a lot of fun too!

Good for you! I vaped Dekang tobaccos also and have found juice I prefer over it. May I make a suggestion? Mountain Vapor USA Mix and/or USA Rich. It is pricier but well worth it to me. I buy 24mg to use in my eroll straight and cut that in half with PG to use in with my Egos with clearos. Some people love, love, love Mt Baker but, so far, I haven't been nor seen many happy with their tobaccos. It just doesn't seem to be their forte so if you don't like what you get, don't stop trying is all I'm trying to say and hope I haven't offended any Mt Baker fans.

Thanks to everyone who has contributed to this thread, im still reading thru it.

I have been vaping for over 4 years and have been very happy with the 510 XL and Boge cartos.
I have the twist and the ego-c but really still prefer something smaller like a real cig....when im vaping the
bigger pv's I'm not getting that feeling of satisfaction!

I see a lot of folk in this thread from the class of 2009 which was a chaotic madhouse here on the forum!
Glad to see that smaller pv's are now getting some attention and respect.

My eRoll is on it's way and i look forward to the very simple and stylish setup that this model appears to be.
Will be giving a review after giving a bit of a whirl.

Cheers

I've stopped vaping about a year ago (started in 2009 in the blu cig forum). Went back to cigs. Just sort of lost interest in vaping, and everything coming out seemed to be geared towards bigger and bigger ecigs. I look around the forums about once every 6 months and this caught my eye.

Just ordered a white kit, and see how it goes.

I love mine and the way you can walk down the street with it hanging out your gob

Oh wow the eRoll is such a pleasure....nice TH and no I don't need to up my nic level in IMO
maybe because i usually use cartos, with eRoll im getting more taste and 18 nic level is plenty!

I really like using at work, no bottles and chargers strewn all over the office!

So far I would say the eRoll is winner whether you are just starting or have been vaping for years.

I started with an Ego-C and then upgraded it with a Kanger MT3S clearomizer, which helped a lot. I'm thinking of getting the ProTank though because it is glass and I guess some juices work better in glass. I also have a Green Smart Living tiny cigalike that I like for the size, but I don't like buying the cartridges for it (I also tried refilling them but that is a drag also).

Maybe the Eroll is a good choice for when I like something smaller? I think it looks nice. I am new to this and confused by all the various types of ecigs. How long does the battery last?

Not sure how long the lifespan of this battery is....but if your asking how long you can use between charging for me about as long as it would to smoke a cigarette BUT the recharge is very short!

If you are new to vaping you might want to try the eRoll, it is a very simple setup....no fuss no muss, wish these were around years ago. :)

Wait, the charge only lasts as long as it takes to smoke a cigarette? In other words only about 7 minutes and then you have to charge it again?

No, you get about 20-30 mins worth of vaping time on one charge. It takes about 30 mins to charge the battery. I think thats what she meant--by the time the one battery is dead the other one is fully charged (provided you put it back in the charger :p).

Some take longer and some less clock-time to vape an eroll battery all the way to needing a charge. You can't really compare it to smoking times as nothing burns away between draws. I can sit at my computer with an eroll between my fingers and take maybe two or three draws every five minutes depending on how hard I'm concentrating on what I'm looking at. With a smoke it would just burn away. In my experience, you'll get about 20-25 minutes of chain vaping on it. Then it will take 25-30 minutes to recharge. So, if you have at least two batteries (3 is better) you will never be without a vape unless, of course, your PCC charge has been exhausted. That takes about 2 hours to recharge from near dead and should fully charge and eroll at least 5 times.

Personally, I just charge all the 7 batteries I carry with the PCC plugged in at home and then wait for the green light to glow on the PCC after the last eroll has charged if I'm going to carry it along with me or I finish charging it in the car. I like doing it this way because they're all fully assembled and ready to vape in a little case. Maybe that sounds like a more pricey way to go but it isn't really. In time, buying a couple of new eroll batteries every month or two or one $10.00 batt a month, they add up for about the same price as an ego. And its best to do that to keep stock fresh whether used daily or not. I wouldn't want all my batts to go at the same time.

Just got this today.

I use a provari when at home, but will be using this when out and about. Pretty impressed with it so far giving the size. Looks great, and the throat hit is impressive for the size. Flavor is a little lacking, but it's not a big deal.

Same here, big mods stay at home. The Eroll is my go to when on the go. I just got back from the movies with my wife, and I was stealth vaping my Eroll throughout the movie :)
