If I ever have to modify these to make them work the way I want, they'll go in the trash.
My modding days ended a LONG time ago, back when blue foam and pyramid tea bags were all the rage.

I've got some Krave Kings coming in the mail.
Should be here on Monday or maybe Tuesday at the latest.

Not saying the eRoll isn't working for me, because as a part time niche product it is for the most part.

But what I really want is an njoy King with lower nicotine and much cheaper.
THAT is what I want.

Yea, at first heating it until it was somehow a red then drip it into water, repeat this three times. Then drip the juice and light up letting it burn out itself, also three times.

edit 1.
Is it needed to do that much, that can be checked with a ohm-meter, measuring between bottom part- and a rest of atty, will the regular resistance (2.2 ohm) drop when put the wick against a coil.
Sorry crappy english.

edit 2.
Ok, I measured it by self, and I was suprised, didn't noticed any difference at the resistance between oxidized and unoxidized wick , secondly it seems that a coil of an (at least used) atty has a big recistance around it, maybe it's developed an ash around it or something, someone more knowledgeable could say more.
I tested the unoxidixed wick and the battery seems to last a standard time.
Maybe there is no needed to oxidized at all especially when it is the used atty.

Current shouldnt be flowing through the wick, so the resistance should stay the same. However if i pushed the wick too far down it was shorting out, and wouldnt light up for more than a second. After oxidizing i dont have the issue, so your write up works

As far as this being "modding", i wouldnt really say it is. You just pull the wick out with pliers, and shove the new one in, you dont even need to dismantle the atty, i can do it from the top down

Maybe youre using a liquid that doesnt work so well in it, not sure why its only so so for you. I get some beast vapor from mine

No, it works fine, but it's not variable voltage so it can never be my main device.
Also, I would never be into fiddling with filling little tanks every day, which is why I am a dripper.

For me the eRoll is only intended to fill a specific role.

That role has a couple of requirements, and a couple of considerations...
1) Requirement: small, portable, fits in pocket, lasts for an evening (check)
2) Requirement: easy to use with no fiddling (mostly)
3) Consideration: small enough and light enough to use exactly like a cigarette (not so much)
4) Consideration: ability to use any juice I want (check)

It is close to being small enough to use like a cigarette, but I can't hold it between my lips.
And it is borderline whether it is even small and light enough to hold like a cigarette.

The NJoy King would be able to fulfill all but my last consideration if it were cheap enough.
And for me, using it only on occasion to fulfill a specific roll, I would trade off flavor for ability to handle it like a cigarette.

I just tried it and it says 48.00 before shipping?

So that tells me they caught an error on their side. It was on "sale " for $60 from that $79.00 at some time I guess because I ordered and it changed to $60 and I kept going and it all worked for me. Well it looks like they took out the sale which came up automatically when I was buying. Looks like they're letting mine slide thru....so far. Sorry about that.

I hear you about the not quite like cig thing but then I CAN do it with my lips and a little help from teeth, even picking out horse hooves. This things a blast. I do us a lot of tanks and fill in advance. It's easy. I can do laying on my back with syringe and needle. Pop on cap and save cap on the empty in a pretty silk string bag. I am eager to see any improvements. Battery life works. I use the charger like an ashtray. But the tanks aren't pretty. So a nicer looking tank. My Atties are lasting a long time but I don't know how long yet. And the tanks might get to falling off easy as the hole gets out of shape from being put on and off a lot. But they are cheap, minus the darn shipping . I don't want to supply too much because I don't know the relationship of the two batteries that came with PCC and kit and how long they all really last. I'm guessing two batteries die about the same time as the PCC but since alive taken to using it at home when reading and on line my charger is plugged in a lot. It sounded like it should last a year....so that means 6 months at best. Even three maybe. We will see. I love these little guys. I figured out why. They seem more natural and that's kind of my thing. Natural. Uhmmmmm and I would try that cig you mentioned. May still but I'm just plain fussy about my flavors and I do use WTA about 90 % of the time. If they had empty carts d give them a try for sure. Not the Kings but that other one.
This time next year should be really fun stuff

Honestly battery improvements in the tech world are not being made. Its going to be tough there

If you want to improve i suggest the mesh wick, it definitely seems to add more "power" Its a lot easier than one would assume not having done something like that before. Maybe i can get a video up, but id like to get a perfect length worked out etc

I see a lot of people state that it is difficult to hold the eRoll in their mouth - I have no issues, and do it regularly. Not sure if I have strong lips or what, cause I can hold an eGo, too.

Really bummed right now - my eRoll PCC broke today, after less than 30 days. One of the two pins inside that connect to the battery popped out, and now the batteries won't charge. I contacted my place of purchase, hoping they will replace under a warranty.

Until then I can't use my eRoll, and it has been my main device since I got it. I keep 7 cartridges full for a day's use, carrying 5 in a carto holder from Smokeless Image. It has replaced all my other devices, and am going to miss it while I sort out the problem.

Yep! NJoy King is the best there is IMO other then the stupid price. Makes me angry and sad. Been searching for the perfect 'real sized' for over 3 years. I find it and cannot afford to use it 'exclusively'.

Wow! How did that happen? You should be able to get a replacement. Joyetech products have a 180 day warranty.

It's going great Dragon........it's the best re-usable hands free device in the market IMO..well a little heavy for the lips but then I have my teeth to back it up :D...pretty much stays in place and performance is just great since it broke-in. This is the closest one can get with at imitating the real thing...and you really need high nic juice preferably 36mg and above to make the batt. time satisfactory craving wise.

I'm glad you like it. You were silent for so long, I was worried that you were disappointed with the eRoll. Yep, high nic juices is the way to go.

I have to agree with DC2 though, if I have to fiddle and mod and use other wicking stuff etc. that will be the end of my love affair with my eRoll. I lived through all that in 2009 with the old school mini ecigs. The teabags and the straws etc. No thanks, not again. in fact that is why I fell off the wagon for a long time. I hated all the fiddling and tinkering. That is another reason I never got big into tanks with cartos, too many things that can go wrong - all the time.

What ejuices are you using? Sorry if I asked before hehe... Sometimes I get confused.

Agreed - they have a pretty slick device, and are seriously missing the mark with their pricing.

Hopefully they replace it. But even if they do, I would consider saving some money and buying a second PCC as a backup if you plan to use the eroll as your only device. I think it can do the job just fine as a one and only device but to truly back yourself up you need at least three batteries and two PCC's, IMO. Plus some carts which you already have and extra atty's of coarse.
