Hey all,

Over 2 year long vaper here, own all kinds of mods, including a Darwin, just got an E-Roll kit as I have always liked the idea of a small no fuss auto.

Initial impressions are good! Dekang 3&5 (really thin PG) in one, and Bounty Hunter (thicker 65/35 pg/vg) in the other, both seem to work well.

Thanks for all the info in this thread!

This may be just me, but.. figured I'd put it out there in case it's not.

I got a new batch of atomizers and burned through 4 of them (as in, they started tasting gross) before I figured out what was going on. Used 50/50 Wordup liquid in the first three and switched to 80/20 in the last one. Got a slightly bad taste still, and ended up cutting the 80/20 with about 30% water. Now it's perfect.. cut the 50/50 liquid with roughly 50% water and it's also fine. Granted, they do taste a bit muted, but they don't make the atty taste like hell after half a tank either..

The odd thing is, the 80/20 liquid from Wordup was perfect for me for about a week. So I don't know if it's variability in the atomizers or that the liquid settled in some negative way, but it's something to consider if you're getting dry hits a lot.

IMHO, replace the tanks when they start leaking liquid into the wrong parts of the tank (where air flows) or if the hole gets large enough that it's leaking out the tip as it sits on the spike. For me, both start happening after 3 or 4 days usually, but sometimes sooner.

Thanks for the info looks like I should pick up some more atomizers lol

And I got my kit for 45 with shipping from
http://www.exhalevapors.com/Joyetech_eRoll_PCC_E_Cig_Electronic_Cigarette_p/1300.htm

They have a 40% off at the top of the page i used. Looks like they still have them instock it said it shipped same day so I will update when I get it. So if someones looking for one or another one for cheap they will know where to get one. I Did buy all the extras from wordupecig.com though

You were asking about tanks, not atomizers, but I'd suggest picking up extras of both if you're dependent on this thing (i.e., trying to quit smoking).

I think I'm a lot more picky than most here, or maybe I just vape more subtle flavors in general, but I can tell the difference from a few-day-old atty to a new one easily, and a new tank to an old one as well. So I personally swap parts often. For the eRoll, the parts are so cheap that to me, I'm still saving money vs cigarettes.

Also what I didn't understand the LR atomizers at wordupecig are cheaper then the regular ones isn't it usually the opposite? Or will the LR's not last as long?

Others here might tell you differently, but the LR atomizers I got just burned up in seconds for me on the eRoll. It's totally possible that there is some variability in the batteries etc though and maybe my experience is a fluke.

For certain though, people in this thread have agreed the LR atomizers haven't made the experience any better, at least.

I use a new tank every other day or so. The flavor is better when I do this and they are so low cost, why not? Yes, I could clean them out and all but

But why :p

I'm in the same boat. I don't want to muck with this, and even if I toss the parts, I'm still better off than when I was smoking.

Cuz I just want to vape and not be Mrs. Fix It with all the atty cleaning and junk. Hence why I avoid attys and tanks but bought an eRoll anyway and likes it. lol. I also posted that you can get 5 attys for $20. I'll be doing that instead of cleaning and etc I did clean mine just to play around. I took the attys apart, etc. I did notice that the bottom end of the wick was black (burnt) and was giving back a nasty ash tray like taste. I snipped some of that away and it's better now. Like I said, I'd rather just but new ones and say use a new per week but I wonder why this happened. I don't recall any dry hits and yes I did prime each atty first. Hmm?

You misunderstood me -- "I am in the same boat". I'm tired of mucking with things. I toss my parts too :)

Welcome and big congrats on quitting as well as spreading the word to your co-workers, it sounds like you're off to a terrific start! :)

Hi eRoll friends!

Thank you so much for starting this thread. I am so thankful and appreciative of everyone's input and willingness to share information. I have been spending my evenings reading every single post in this eRoll thread!

I am pretty new to vaping, and have been vaping for about 1 month now. Believe it or not, I actually started vaping during a really bad break up with my ex, and found I was chain vaping even though as a smoker, I would only smoke about 8/day. Vaping has completely changed my health and I feel so much better about myself and am no longer feeling guilty about inhaling nicotine.

I have become very open about sharing my experience with people in my life, especially at work. I sit and vape in my office, and charge my eRoll and PCC plugged into the usb on my computer. My co-workers have become very interested. Smokers, and non-smokers are now going to buy eRoll for themselves or for their family and friends who smoke. It still feels odd to me when smokers invite me to go outside with them, they say, come smoke your "fake cigarette" with me! And while they smoke their "real cigarette" I vape and share my experiences of using eRoll and how it works. It's funny because I initially wanted to hide vaping from people, but they are so intrigued and excited at the thought of switching over.

Yesterday, we were at a pub after work, and another smoker was using my eRoll, and she loved it so much she didn't want to give it back!

So I wanted to introduce myself because I have been lurking this thread for about a month! Thank you to all of you who post and contribute to the knowledge of vaping and using the eRoll. It has truly changed my life and my health. :)
