Grhh after having the atty in a cup of vinegar for a few hours i come home to find that my sister threw the glass and atty down the sink!

Okay, she is definitely out of the will. She gets nothing!

OMG, I would have freaked. I'm glad you have backup. But just in case, you might want to order a couple more. Unless you know how to take a kitchen sink drain apart?? :p The bend might be full of attys.

I use empty pill bottles for soaking, so I can cap them and they are less likely to get thrown out by accident.

However my Ultrasonic cleaner just came in, so I will be using it from now on.

That's a good idea. I use a small tupperware container with a lid. But I just got an ultrasonic cleaner, too. I haven't tried it yet. Let me know how it goes for you.

Exhalevapors is the vendor who sent Sparkles the attys they advertised as being for the eRoll and they were the wrong ones--didn't fit, wouldn't work. They won't answer her emails about the problem either. Just a heads up.

Not to bag a vendor ( but here I go ) I also had a less than stellar experience with them. They totally garbled my address resulting in almost three weeks to deliver. (Was returned to sender as undeliverable). Once it was confirmed that the screw up was on their end, I asked him to send me a new one and keep the return when he got it back. Instead he waited then reshipped it. No extras, goodies, or anything other than an email "sorry". Not terrible, but not great either.

Not great is enough to question using a vendor, but I have never used them myself.

Oh, and just to add to the numbers.. I had two batteries fail on me today. One I dropped, from about 2 feet, onto carpet.. got stuck in the on-position. Tried banging it around a bit, but it's stuck. Replaced it with another that was just totally dead -- wouldn't fire and wouldn't charge. Both were about 3 months old.

Not deterred in any way -- they are after all only $9 each -- but it's probably a good idea to have a few on hand.

The cats pajamas? I have an eroll i specifically use for fireball mixes, the chrome one.

I can't handle the fireball for long on its own, but a drop in a tank with basically tobacco really is good. Just gives it a little kick, which is especially good when the flavor goes flat from vaping the same thing every day.

If anyone wants a couple pill bottles just let me know. I have no less than 4 every month.

LOL, oh honey! ;) I'm not going to count how many I have a month. It would be upsetting. If you want to get creative while weirding people out, you can make a "beaded" (bottled) curtain out of them. Use them to keep change. Mini first aid kits. Sharps containers. Sorting screws, nails, hardware (you can mount them on boards in a shop!) Crafty stuff. Store other types of medication if you live in California. Pen holders (if glued to something heavier) - Oh, the list goes on!

OK, back to vaping. So.... not knowing if the rashes come from vaping sucks....

I used to be the same way, I use them for a little bit of everything. They are great for storing tanks for the eRoll :D

Questions:
  • Advice on what to do about flavors? I need the taste of something besides chemically "tupperware air" in my mouth. Hellooooo, I'm used to a bazillion chemicals and burning things! (That might have something to do with it?)
  • Mt Baker says not to use Green Apple in plastic tanks. eRoll people say you can use any flavor, tho there might be some problems with juices with solids. Any experience here? (I asked in the tank crackers thread.)
  • OK to rinse needle tops out with just water when done filling tank?
  • When testing flavors (or lack thereof), you drip a "few" (3?) drops onto the spike of the atomizer. But how do you use all that flavor without burning it dry to go to the next?
  • Switching flavors in tanks - just rinse out with water?
  • What do ya'll use to keep your stuff in? In a month or two I'll need something that locks, since I might have a kid visiting now and then, and better safe than sorry. I at least need something cat-proof for now. For the extra pieces batteries, tanks, bottles, and 8 or so bottles I have of flavor. Shoe box with rubberbands or is there something more clever everyone loves to use?
  • I made a thread asking about alternatives to Ucans, will check to see if there's any responses. Seems to be hit or miss with leaks. I'd rather not spend that much money on something that might leak. And if some flavors can eat through a tank, I'm hesitant to trust a plastic bag for protection on any of them.

..
Come on guys! Who can help out a newbie please? If we all answer a couple of questions it will be done in no time :D!

.... You ssaaaiiiiid.... ;) (since there's no replies yet in the New Members forum, i'll just copy and paste what I've written there to here.)

Well, I finally have both my eRoll AND juices! Yay!

First impressions:

  • Why doesn't the starter kit come with another cone so you can have two complete units??? Of course, not sure I want 2 yet.
  • Lots of vapor, but seems to be of a different "quality" (not as in good or bad, just as in somehow different) than the Mistic I'm used to. I'm assuming Mistic uses PG juices tho, I'm using a VG/DW blend now.
  • Not much flavor I read to order extra flavor shots. I was a little hesitant since there's PG in Mt Baker's flavoring. I asked the Mt Baker rep how many extra shots I should get using an eRoll and 70 VG/30 DW. He said just 1.
  • Right now I'm vaping Blackberry. I ordered two shots on this. Hardly any flavor. What is there is a little ... weird. I mean, I guess I shouldn't expect it to taste like fresh freakin' blackberries! Covering one hole for a second does seem to intensify the flavor a bit, but still weak. No flavor detected at all with Apricot, which I only got 1 extra shot of.
  • Wow. Going through a lot of liquid very, very quickly. I now see why the small tank is a big deal.
  • I have poor vision. Glad I got a needle tip top for the flavor bottles for filling the tank. This makes it easy.
  • PCC took longer to charge than it said it would. Maybe it's a first time thing?
  • I like the look of the black one better. But I should have thought about the fact that I'd lose my head if it wasn't attached. I lose everything. Black blends into an awful lot of things. Something to consider. (It comes in white and maybe silver, too.)

I know I've read answers to some of these before. I'm going to go re-read the almost 200 pages on the e-roll now, and take better notes (copy and paste into Word ) (I have a terrible memory.)

Really bummed about flavor Wondering if I can buy concentrated flavor to add to these flavors or if that will even help....

Okay, I'll give it a go. I didn't see this post until Dragonbone highlighted it. Sorry.

If you are getting burning tupperware flavor, your juice isn't getting to the atty properly. Try flicking the tank with your finger like a nurse flicks a syringe to force the air bubbles to the top. An air bubble could be sitting on the spike and keeping your juice from reaching the atty. You can also drip a couple of drops (only 2 or 3) directly onto the spike before you put the tank on. Also, sometimes pulling the tank up just a hair helps. You should be getting rich flavor with the eRoll. If you aren't, something isn't right. Another possibility is that it isn't the eRoll at all and you are suffering from new vaper syndrome and it will take awhile for your taste buds to wake up and respond to the flavors.

The flavors of juice that crack plastic tanks won't hurt your eRoll. It's a different kind of plastic. I've never had an issue with any juice in the eRoll.

Yes, it's okay to rinse tanks and needle tip bottles out with hot water and then use them again. You can blow through them or shake them to get any leftover water out.

If you test a flavor by putting a couple of drops on the atty, you aren't going to vape it completely dry, but it doesn't matter. If you move to the next flavor, at most you will have a vape or two with a mix of the flavors before the original juice taste is gone. That is unless you are using a really strong flavored juice like cinnamon. Then you might have to clean your atty to get rid of the flavor.

I use UCans, but I also have syringes and needle tip bottles. I haven't had any UCans leak, but I find that when I take the top off my needle tips, some juice leaks. I think I just have a crappy brand.

As for storage, there are a ton of threads with storage ideas on ECF. I use little plastic storage boxes that I keep in the drawers of my coffee table in my home office. I also have a small lockbox that I got on Amazon that I use for some of my gear. Some people use tackle boxes or craft boxes. Some use essential oil binders to hold their juice bottles. It all depends on what works for you personally.

Good luck and I hope you end up loving your eRoll.

I have been using my eroll and have not picked up my other mods. Really was not my intention. I got this to throw in my wrist clutch purse for outings.

It was quite hard for my vaping friends to wrap their mind around it. They saw it as most do, those crazy batteries that we all started out with. But it in essence it's the same mah that I was carrying around with my Provari.

I am having decent luck with high PG juice (90/10). I know most of you use high VG, but thus far no leaks.

I appreciate all the tips and tricks. Keep them coming.

Tracking shows my E-roll should be delivered today. I just hope I am able to make it to the Post Office before they close.

I realized I have never had an automatic battery e-cig. That should be interesting.

:rickroll:

Hoping for mine today too! USPS hasn't updated tracking since origin sort on the 11th :(
