I've been waiting awhile to review this one because it has so many Pluses and Minuses. In the end it's my back up , stealth and driving (when others are in the car with me).
My preference for regular vaping is the Eleaf Squeeze 2 with either the Vandy Maze refittable Atty or the Ijoy Sqrd. Both of these give out voluminous vapor on a Squonking system. And have easy to change coils.
But sometimes you need stealth and or a back up unit. So I tried the Atopak Magic system.
Pros
1. It holds a whopping 7+ml of liquid
2. It has a Large 1300mah battery
3. It's a pod system
4. Reasonably priced around $25.00 at VapeSourcing,Replacement Pod is only $2.90 and the cotton is around a buck or two.
5. If you hold down the button as you do MTL Mouth To Lung vaping it's warm enough
6. Easy to refill
7. Doesn't leak
Negatives
1. It's longer than I'd like can't completely cover the whole unit with one hand as I stealth Vape
2. Has a unique type of changing of the Wick. It's a square of cotton that you change with tweezers
3. It does not give out voluminous Vaper
4. I can't use my regular 8mg liquid. I use a 33mg DIY Nic Salt
5. The button protrudes and if you don't lock will go off in your pocket. The good news is that when this happens nothing seems to burn. The Temp is not very high.
6. Draw is too tight for direct to lung.
Sometimes you want to be stealthy. So I like to have a back up unit. But what's the use of a backup APV if it's always running out of batteries or liquids. With a 7ml of liquid and a 1300mah battery I just charge and fill the Magic and throw in my pocket and it works for weeks as a back up apv no Muss No Fuss.
Originally when i vaped with it I was underwhelmed as it was too cool. But I experimented and found that if I went MTL but kept the button depressed the whole time non stop it would heat up to a decent level without singing the cotton.
With a 33mg liquid it actually tastes pretty good.
Recently I went to a trade show for 3 days and stealth vaped through the Trade Show. Both the liquid and the battery lasted without needing to refill or recharge. It was very good for stealth except I did feel uncomfortable that I couldn't palm it with one hand. This could be a dealbreaker for some.
My biggest gripe aside from the protuberant button is that with the large tank and battery there is a trade off. It's a little too long. When stealth vaping I can't just cover it with 1 hand. But in the end, Size Matters and this has become my stealth and back up unit.
