ProCore Aries Tank & Aries vs ELLO Mini thoughts plus a ProC1 & C2 coil comparison...
The Joyetech ProC1 coil comes with both the mod and the tank if purchased separately. It's got a large diameter opening than the C2 and has a very airy draw. For one of my all day vapes, it's the best coil I've ever tried with it. That juice has a little more throat hit though, and on devices with less air flow, it can be a bit much at times. I'm still using the same coil after 3 weeks and 60ml+ on just that coil, and it's still just as good which is blowing me away. Usually I stretch a coil to two weeks but would prefer dumping it after one, no matter what coil I've used in the past 7 years.
I bought two extra Aries tanks, and I tried the C1 with another all day vape, but even if I minimize the air inlet, it's just too airy and it's like inhaling flavored air with no feeling of a hit. So I decided to try the C2 with that juice and its great. I can leave the tank wide open but it's a tighter draw and feels and tastes great.
Like the picture shows above, I tried the ProC1 in the Eleaf ELLO Mini. I like it much more than the Eleaf HW coils. That tank has limited airflow to begin with so I think it works much better with the wide open C1. In the ELLO Mini, the C1 is more restricted than in the Aries though. Even though I prefer the C1 in the ELLO Mini over the HW coils, the C1 still tastes much better in the Aries. The whole experience of the Aries is better to me. Also, I've had some minor leaking with the HW1, the HW2 and the ProC1 in the ELLO Mini, but zero leakage in any of the three Aries I have.
I'll be getting the Pico 25 with the ELLO, the 25mm version of the ELLO Mini, and I'm curious to see how that works with the C1, especially since it has no chimney at all really with the 2ml glass. I'm interested to see how the HW coils work in that tank compared to the Mini as well.
