Joytech atomizer giving me better flavour than itaste2? What the heck?

I started with a joyetech cigalike product. Fell in love with the flavour, did not touch a cig for awhile (2 pack a day smoker), then my battery troubles started, went back to vendor, he replaced atomizer and charging unit, I was getting the atomizer super hot, but it was so good to vape this. Still battery problems, went back to smoking heavy.

Going to try this again. Went to a better battery, then a twist battery, then a Itaste2 battery. Went to different tanks, ProII, EVOD, throwaway tanks as well.

My juice went off the market, "Timmys Ice Cap" loved that stuff.

vaping tongue problems. Bought loads of juice, gave some away because I knew I would not vape those. Looking for the perfect vape and taste.

Okay, here is the part that is weird. I am cleaning up my vape equipment, still smoking and vaping. I came across the Cigalike. Charged it, put some Vanilla Ice Cream by Crystal into it and holy mackerel, good taste, lot's of smoke.

Why would a atomizer on a cigalike taste better to me than a tank? Happen to anybody else?

Oh and I do not plan on doing my own rebuilding, just find it kind of amazing the taste difference, if only the battery would last.

A common complaint about clearos is they tend to be on the light side when it comes to flavor production. Your observation regarding atomizer versus clearo isn't out of line.

If you want the added flavor with the convenience of a tank setup you may want to try out an inexpensive carto tank for less than $10.00. The down side is that the replacement cartos are disposable things and different (all) manufacturers seem to be rather spastic about quality control. When they work they can be great. When they suck an entire box of 5, or ten boxes of 5 all bought at the same time, can all suck.

Wow, that is good advice.
I take it Fast Tech may have some of these? Just put an order for some parts, darn it.
The one thing that the atomizer did for me personally was introduce me to a flavour buzz that I have been searching to replicate.
I seriously think that if my battery's would have lasted I would have been off of cigs.

I think the Joyetech is a great entrance to vaping, it got me hooked and it is great for the office. I forgot about it until today and I am a new vapourer.

Thanks again for the advice, I will definitely try this.

I'm not a FT person, but a cartotank is such a basic piece of gear they must have something. Finding it on FT though - lol - they seem to call everything an atomizer no matter what it is. That, or they should be readily available through Canadian suppliers.

You can get crazy with carto tanks - pyrex tanks with metal end caps can run up to $40.00 USD or more. But to test out the experience a basic plastic carto tank with one carto included doesn't have to set you back more than $10.00 and many times a lot less than that. At least that's the good part about experimenting with several of the options available - you can try out a stock atty, a bottom coil clearo or a carto tank and none of those options have to set you back more than a pack of smokes cost in order to test out some new gear.

I'm going to disagree slightly with some of the advice so far....not that carto tanks are bad, but vaping on a nice well built atomizer is as good or better. I sounds like you had 510 atomizers for your original e-cig, these should be the same threading as your current batteries and can be swapped over. With the variable batteries you can dial in the best voltage for maximum performance in your old attys also.

Carto tanks or clearos are good for out and about. A good atty (available everywhere) dripping with your feet up at home is a great vape....:vapor:

Your Joyetech 510 atomizer will work on any device that has a 510 connector.
Which is just about any device on the market today.

So really, you can use your atomizer with just about any battery you want.
No rebuilding needed.
:)

EDIT: I'm currently using my 510 atomizers on an Ego Twist.
