I guess we just expect different things for $60.

.

Nobody's asking to give it for free. Make it $61 or offer spares as an option. Then I will choose, either to go and buy a ruler to measure all my o-rings and buy them bulk in Canadian Tire or..will buy what I need at the vape store.

I see you are new to vaping so I'll cut you some slack.

When the eGo One 1st arrived you should have noticed it did not come with any spare parts and you could have planned ahead. You should do this with any PV. An oring is NOT going to last forever and just about everyone who has been vaping for any amount of time has had an oring break.

When you get a new PV look at it and decide what you may need in spare parts. Get them in advance and toss them aside. I have so many different sized orings right now I can even begin to count them all. See that little oring on most drip tips? Yup it might break as well.

What happens when you get a dud atomizer? Are you done buying them as well? I purchased a lot of atomizers once and more than half went poof on the 1st draw.

Welcome to vaping.

And I did, see my original post. It doesn't mean we should not push back on companies to make products a bit more "user friendly". As I've said, not all former smokers are hobbyists.

Push back because an extra oring was not included? Come on now, that's just being stubborn.

There are a lot of PV's, RBA and RDA that don't come with spare parts. When purchasing the product it will usually list what comes with it. If spare parts are included, it will usually be listed.

You are going overboard with this and I am sure that over time, as you vape more and buy more gear you will come to realize this. If you don't want to purchase from Jantytech anymore then don't. Spend your $$ on a company that provides spare parts.

At any rate, I'm pretty much done with this thread as it's beating a dead horse at this point. You've been given options but you are resistant to any of them.

Best of luck

Yea but the point being missed is the ego one IS that device.

Before it hit the market YOU the consumer had ro buy a mech mod, then learn what battery would safely handle the load of the coil you want to build ( in this case .5 ohms) then after researching, buy a tank that could handle subohm coils, then learn to wrap said coils and tune them properly.then make sure it is wicking correctly. Then make sure the mechanical mod is functioning correctly..

Instead for 60 you got to open a box, and poof your subohming on a mech in 5 minutes. And make no mistake pretty lights or not, it is a mechanical mod.

Im not giving you a hard time cause maybe you didnt even realize how many steps, and how much learning and hobbiest knowledge the ego one has already prepared for you

I personally think thats a more then fair trade for having to find an o ring once in a while. Especially for a non hobbiest minded consumer such as your self.

For that one small price you get a setup comparable to what i have been using for years without having to learn or understand one singe step of the process.

Do you want me to tell the story how we processed E-6 film in 80's? Or you will stick to your cell phone camera?

Knowing how to properly maintain a device doesn't make you a hobbyist. It just means you're smart enough to plan ahead. But maybe you don't really care if you back to smoking and are looking for an excuse?

I've never had a clearo that needed a spare o-ring and mine are cheap. It would be more to the point, to avoid smoking, to have some kind of backup -- a whole device at least, even if minimal, not just a few spare parts. That takes a small extra effort for a beginner, later usually is no problem ;) .

Let customer support at Joyetech Canada know about the o-ring wearing out. I would be surprised if they didn't send you a complimentary replacement ...or maybe even a new tank. Who knows? You may not be the only one who has been put off by this happening. At the very least it will make Joyetech aware of the potential o-ring issue and they might consider including spares in future kits or provide more durable ones. Dumb as it may sound, this problem probably didn't occur to them. But I have found Joyetech UK very helpful so far when I have had problems with their products.

I remember when o-rings weren't even a necessity, because cartos and attties with poly-fill cartridges were the only options. Cartos and atties were consumable. Replacements were necessary.

Everything stands to wear from use/elements/time. It's a fact of life.

OP, you had every opportunity to review your purchase before buying. If spare parts was not a consideration when you clicked "Buy Now", that's YOUR oversight. Now, to come in and bash a product due to your negligence in due course is an obvious admission of ignorance. People learn from their mistakes, though. I wish you well with the repair and your improved lifestyle through vaping.

It's just a friggin o-ring. Somebody send the guy an o-ring, please!

Hell, PM me your the o-ring measurements. If I have one in my spare parts (likely), I'll have it in an envelope, on the way to you. :)

You all realize your just feeding the troll. There are people in life that will never be happy. It's satisfying for them to complain about things that other people enjoy. You won't make this guy happy. He has a chip on his shoulder that won't go away unless Joyetech sends a written apology with a brand new device and 5 spare orings. Then he'll still refer to how they were a crappy product until he taught them how to put out a real product.

Where did I say that I need your o-ring or that I don't have my own spares?
Oh, you didn't ask. I offered. That's how a Southern Gentleman acts. Offer assistance when you see someone in need. It's a morality thing we ingrain in our way of life down here where the air is sweet as the iced tea.

I assumed you didn't have a spare o-ring due to the fact you made such a big deal about this issue. Silly me. So what's the issue? You have the materials to service a failed part. No big deal, right?

As I said, I wish you well. Good luck.
