I'm not a huge fan of the Ego One clearo, myself (for different reasons not related to build quality) but I wouldn't expect the o rings to last indefinitely, especially if they've been regularly removed and cleaned. It might have ripped sooner than expected, but it wouldn't be a huge deal to me. Personally, I love the Ego One battery and wouldn't write a product line off for a faulty component of one product in the line. I agree that they should include spare o rings, but the fact of the matter is that they don't. When making a tank purchase, I certainly note whether spare rings are included, but don't use that as a deciding factor. If the tank does what I want and doesn't come with spare rings, I order a spare pack at the same time or determine the size and order some elsewhere. Good practice.

A call or email to Joyetech US might have been a prudent course of action. They'd probably have sent the o rings for free.

Incidentally, at $60 for the starter kit, you got ripped off a bit by your merchant. Just sayin'...

Maybe it would be better to buy a $100 VV/VW mod that can push a .5 ohm coil and a tank for $40.00 so you can get a spare freaking oring.....

Go buy a .02 oring and be happy you got a great vape for $60.02

The mindset of many people these days amazes me. Do research prior to buying something and take responsibility for your purchase - the world will be a better place.

You do realize that I had a spare o-ring and replaced it, right?
At this point your just being ridiculous. You are part of what I call the spoiled and lazy crowd. Am I considered a hobbiest because I own a car and change my own oil. No I'm considered a car owner who maintenences my own stuff.

It's sad that today's society is so out of touch that they demand a company readily supply spare parts included into original purchase.

He'll sony better be putting a spare TV in the box when I purchase my 60" TV incase the original goes out I don't wanna have to call customer service geez.

And as if putting the proverbial icing on the cake some nice people in here who have attempted to help you and all you could do is be snippy and argumentative.

That's not how we roll here if all you've signed on here for is to whine and moan
Over a . 02 oring and be argumentative so you can win an argument you started that doesn't exist with anyone else.

Please just leave us flabbergasted and post else where.

And that’s great.

Considering you are making parallel between car oil change and o-ring replacement on the atty, I would like to ask you a question. Are buying oil filters in a bulk (different sizes and shapes) and simply eyeballing the right one when the time comes to replace the filter? Or you unscrew the filter, drain the oil, measure the filter and order one from the internet supplier based on your measurements?

No typically I would do a SIMPLE search of make and model of vehicle and find out the standard filter and go from there.

I have had trouble with clear o-rings on other applications not just vape hardware they not as stretchy as the black and red ones. They tend to get cracks in them and break. Your probally better off with your replacement you made than the factory replacement.

Agreed. Just received replacements from Fasttech, SKU 2066602 and tested them. Durable, perfect fit.

P.S. I would like to thank Yvonne from Joyetech Marketing Department for providing o-ring specifications.

Victor in future you might want to alter the way you respond to people especially those trying to help you because right now at best your borderline rude. As for this thread it should never have got past page one I can't believe I've read it which I did as I'm looking to get an ego one for my wife. Replace the orings as many of us have in the past, present and will in future and vape on, your reaction was completely over the top for one of the simplest problems in vaping.

The dern Chevy dealers! I bought a $40K car just this year. The oil filter needs replaced already. I'm all kinda upset because they didn't include a spare oil filter. What happens, now when I need tires?? And windshield wipers?? And lightbulbs?? Oh, the humanity!!!!

*see what I did there?

I do see what you did there :pop:

I have a Joyetech eGo one....Of course the first thing I did when I got it was put my Mini Nautilus on it....it has no O rings...

It's nice for the little extras to be included but margins on a lot of vape gear isn't high and o rings are hardly expensive to get hold of or difficult to get and if the biggest problem you hit with a device is o rings your onto a good thing. I just think some people want too much for relatively cheap gear and in some ways eleaf and kanger have spoilt people (myself included) with the great accessories packages they include as standard.

For those who is interested, eGo ONE o-ring specs from Joyetech

external diameter:16mm
internal diameter:14mm
thickness:1mm

Agreed. Just received replacements from Fasttech, SKU 2066602 and tested them. Durable, perfect fit.
Aside from all the other kerfuffle, I extend my appreciation to you for posting the o-ring sizes and sku's for future reference. From one Ego One owner to the other. Thank you.

That is what I'd like to think the forum is partly all about.
