I'm not sure of the logic we're playing with here, but it makes sense to me that a steady flow of orders that he can take time processing would be far better than having panicked people worried about not getting juice jumping on him with mega-orders, all at once. Eg he opens on a Thurs. and so many people have been waiting and worrying that it's a torrent of orders that are overwhelming.
I'm used to waiting for orders from other vendors. Having my order placed and paid for, I can relax and look forward to receiving my items in due time. Being able to place an order anytime and not having to worry about the site being closed for so many days is much less taxing all around if you ask me.
I Think what he might be worried about if he leaves the site open and continues to take orders is that he will amass a mountain of orders that could possibly take a month or more to fill! Its quite the slippery slope he's on right now, because he really does care about his customers and wants to give them the absolute best/fastest service possible, but if he gets overwhelmed with a mountain of orders in a mere 45 minutes after opening, can you imagine what it would be like after 24 hours?
Juggy is a good guy, and he means well, and all i hope is he gets on top of this situation soon because I can only imagine the tremendous pressure he feels he is under right now by having to do what he is doing.

Somehow he knows how much I love chocolate. hehe
