In my personal experience the eGot-T atty clogs only when i use sweet juices. I have used PG, VG, PG/VG normal juices, but when i use Tastyvapor Atomic Cinnacide (for example) i can vape 2 days and thee atty need some cleaning (dry burn). That not happen with the normal juices (Chinese ones) that are not that sweet.
Thanks!! I also posted another question "I ordered a Joye eGo-T and was wondering how often you have to change out your atomizer? I know that I read that when you first get it to make sure to clean out the "primer" that it comes with or it gives a horrid taste but how often do you clean it after that? Also what is your preferred method of cleaning it? I also know that after a certain amount of time you'll need to switch out the atty so my big question was definitely how often do you change yours out "
Could you answer that for me since you seem to be knowledgeable on the whole juice/atty cleaning thing?
Clear juices work better on the Tank attys. I like 70pg/30vg but nothing really dark. You can wash the tank just like you do any other atty using hot water. Blow it dry and dry burn it several times in a dark corner of the room just until you can see an orange glow. Do that several times, refill it and vape until it recovers.
Wick height is crucial for proper wicking. The wick should come up to the lower part of the slant cut in the piercing tube. You can remove the wick plate and clean the coil much better.

It dependes on the use, i normally use it when i go out, since it has a 1100mAh batttery and one tank its ok for normal vaping.
The first eGo-T atty i used lasted more or less 1 month of alternate use -until the leaking problems and poor vapor production due the wick came misadjusted- then i cleaned it (dry burn) and adjusted the wick. It was working ok for about 1 week, so i used to clean it at least 1 time per week. The atty was loosing wick in every cleaning until the wick (fibers) was not enought to properly feed juice in to the atty.

Okay I know this is an old thread but I thought since nobody is answering me in the new post I just posted I'll ask you guys!!

Okay so my husband and I both have the Joye eGo-T 900mah's we are both new to vaping (about a month or so) we've just been "blowing" our atomizer/cone's out to keep them from getting gunked up, well about 3 days ago my husband said he thinks he "burnt" his atomizer up so we assumed there was nothing you can do so we just tossed it, I gave him mine (because he is going out of town) and ordered myself a new one.....well before he left town we thought we'd just give it a good cleaning w/ IPA before he leaves so that nothing bad happens while hes gone. After soaking it in the alcohol for about 30 minutes I ran it under some hot water a couple of times and let it dry for about 4 hours in front of a desk fan. He just plugged it all up and we got the juice going on it and SOMEHOW it too has burnt up...or at least I'm assuming what that god awful taste is....how in the heck is this happening? What is causing them to "burn" up, are we doing something wrong....how can we prevent these issues and is there any way to "unburn" the one that we just cleaned?? He is going out of town tomorrow at 5am so I'm doubting there's a whole lot we can do to get it ready for him to take tomorrow but is there anything I can do to salvage it and use it myself? It really stinks that in 3 days he has managed to burn up 2 of them.....ugh end vent!

Sorry I don't have an answer to your question, but I would suggest you get extra atomizers. I'm new to vaping and use the eGo T as well and from my reaserch, these attys can sometimes be very finicky and burn up in a few days from new. For mine I blow air through them daily and pour alcohol through them every couple days. A few days ago I broke and burned up all my attys and had to smoke analogs for a day, it was horrible!! I now have a new eGo kit with plenty of extra atomizers on the way, I do NOT want to have to smoke the stinkie analogs again.
I use ego-t low resistance type a atties, clean them with vickies method from Cignot.com once a week (take apart and dry burn) and after 3 months they are still going strong, I do replace the wicks using zippo wicks every couple of weeks.
That is what I bought and am soon to be getting in the mail, it is okay to use them with a 900mah battery right? I just read that you shouldn't use LR attys w/ ego-t batteries but I know absolutely nothing about all of this lol I am 100% still new to it all. BUT on the upside I just soaked the 2nd burnt atty in some vodka, let it dry for about 10 mins (also dried it for a few under a hair dryer) and wah-lah! it seems to be working at least I think it is, hubby is no longer gagging at the taste of it LMAO!
When people complain about burnt taste or hot atty barrels, it's usually the wick out of adjustment. If that's the case, you get almost no vapor and the barrel gets hot because the coil is glowing red hot due to starvation. Watch the Cignot video several posts above to see how to do that. The wicks are the weakest part of the Ego-T, but once you know how to fix that problem, they are good atomizers.
Guess I must have "bumped" the wick back into place during my cleaning process or something then because its fixed lol but I was too scared to completely disassemble it because he is going out of town tomorrow and I didn't want him to be without an atty for a month! (he is in the AF and won't have the option to order another and have it sent to him) but either way it is fixed =D
Everyone needs a bag full of atomizers to fall back on. Most of us have tried several types of kits, batteries, and atomizers over time and we have a stack of backups.
I highly recommend Boge cartomizers. They are up near the high point in taste and vapor and are easy to deal with. I listened to people brag about Boge for months before finally ordering a box. You get 5 in a box for about $8 and all you do to fill them is pop off the tip and drip into the atomizer like a standard cartridge. They are self contained with the atomizer coil built in, surrounded by the filler.
I also like the Joye 306 atty with a drip tip. It's good for sitting around the house. You just drip 2 or 3 drops of juice into the hole in the mouthpiece, wipe the end, and vape. You get at least the number puffs you would get from a 100mm cigarette and the taste and vapor are top shelf.
Hmm I'll have to look into these things you speak of I have no idea what a drip tip is or how to use one but I'm sure there are youtube videos out there! Also, when you say all you have to do is pop off the tip and drip into the atty like a cartridge, how does that work?? Do you just drop 3-4 drops in there and vape? wouldn't that wind up being time consuming?

I'm sorry, I really can't help you. If you got your kits from Cignot and you email Vicky, she's a huge help and will answer your right away! I had trouble with mine and she was so helpful!
Okay so I just got 4 new attys in the mail and I blew the primer out and went ahead and cleaned them w/ Vodka, after they dry do I need to put a couple drops of ejuice in them to keep the moist?? Or is it okay that they just stay completely dry.

If u have an ego battery, the LR 510 boge cartos completely replace the atty. Just twist the cartomizer right to the battery, fill and vape

Drip tips can be places on cartos for a different fit or u can just use the little quite tops that come on the cartos
