Hi all :)

Compared to you guys, I'm relatively inexperienced when it comes to Mods, Tanks and ejuice.

I've just upgraded to a Kanger SubTank (LOVING IT BTW) but I've noticed it gobbles juice!!! I'm using nearly 10ml A DAY!! (when i had an ego twist and ProTank mini that would last me a week)

I only vape in the occasions i would have had an Cigarette (breaks, Lunches at work - quite a few sat on the Xbox on a night)

What steps can i take to lower my juice usage? - I tend to have my mod set at 4.6V and SubTank on "one hole" airflow setting.

Any ideas?

Aside from switching to the 1.2ohm coil, sadly not really. All those big dense flavorful clouds you're blowing out is eliquid that you're vaporizing yet isn't settling inside you to get absorbed.

You might really look into the DIY section (Susan or Rat will be along with links), or juice extension by mixing cheaper PG/VG into a higher-nic eliquid, etc.

Im actually using the 1.2ohm coil at the minute, i dread to think what i'd go through if i used the rebuild-able one!!!

I use 0.6 Vampire Vape which i believe is 60/40 in favor of PG.

The rebuildable RTA can be whatever ohm you wish it to be, and is probably the best way to conserve eliquid. You can only drop your wattage so far with the OCC coils, because you have to get the decently-fat coils going and once you do they chuck off vapor. There's nothing saying you can't put together a 28-30g 1.8ohm coil in the RTA and lower your wattages further. The vape'll be way different than what you're currently experiencing, but what you're experiencing is vaporizing massive amounts of eliquid.

This ^^^ will vaporize less juice per drag, or you could vape fewer drags per hour, take shorter drags or do a combination of these things.

There is no other way I know of to reduce juice consumption.

OTOH, if you want to save on juice costs, you can always make your own. The ECF DIY E-Liquid subforum is a great reference. I've been doing this for about 2 years now. It's not hard once you get into it and it costs me about $2.00 per 30 ml bottle of juice which lasts me almost a week. I use RDAs and very dependable mechanical mods. I figure I've been vaping for around a dollar a day the last year and that should continue for the foreseeable future.
