Juice/hardware showing up false positives on screening?

Goodday fellow vapers.

So the story goes I get tested for drugs via urin 1-2 times per week as it is a condition
of the program I am in right now.

Last time I got a positive (edited) and I haven't smoked (OTHER STUFF) in years and
the only things ive done different now to previous tests are 2 new medications and vaping some new juices and using a new hardware (Genesis RSST + Ekowool, silica wick, wire rope, kanthal a1 and mesh)

Will of course check if the new meds can give a false positive but its harder when it comes to these things.

Im not saying there could be (OTHER STUFF) in the products per se but if there are some chemical that reacts with the test and gives false positive.

If this is something that has happened to other? Or any rumors of it?

I doubt very much it has something to do with it but it never hurts to ask right.

Like you said, it's pretty doubtful it has anything to do with vaping

extremely unlikely that vaping had anything to do with you testing positive for any type of Cannabinoid. most of the nicotine you ingest is metabolized into Cotinine, Cotinine can keep showing up for a week after being exposed to nicotine. but that's about it.

Yeah, thanks guys for the replies.
Like I said I don't believe it has to do with vaping juices or hardware.
This thread is a shot in the dark if by chance somebody had the same experience.

Always good to ask. But as others said it's doubtful to be vaping, check with your doctor about your new medications and ask her/him to be sure though!

The only case I've heard of a false positive on ECF was someone reporting it for alcohol on a breathalyzer test. The person was blaming menthol liquids as the source of the problem.

don't forget also sometimes things you eat will give false positives...like too many poppy seeds....
antidepressants, Anti Inflammatories, allergy meds and painkillers can give false positives
even too much chocolate and coffee can set the test off
