The other day, I rewicked my dark horse rda, just cause it was time to change the wick. I had no serious issues with the old wicking, it was just time. I rewicked it exactly the way I had before, but this time, if I inhale with my usual force, I get several drops of juice on my tongue and in my throat. I figured I messed up, rewicked it again, taking care to do it well, and I'm getting the same issue. This hasn't happened before, and I'd like help. I'm using a standard microcoil, 26 guage around 3/32 drill bit (at least i think that's micro. Idc about the terminology a the moment). Airflow is all the way open, and i'm using the drip TIP that it came with, not the wide bore cap.

The juice spitting is usually an indication of a wicking issue. From what you describe it seems like you already have your wicking down. If your wick density is filling the coil correctly and wicking the coil then you may just need to break it in.

What I usually do with a new wick is saturate it and let it sit for a minute, don't over saturate. Then I give it a lower voltage compared to what I vape, a few quick fires at 3.7 volts to draw the liquid inwards. Put a drop on the coils, fire some more, then I start to turn it up.

That's just what I do though, it's not a proven method or anything. I do think it's a good idea to break it in a bit, give it some low heat and then bump it up. Let the wick vape off the initial priming liquid, but don't let it get too dry obviously.
