I've been experimenting with a lot of new tanks lately, and one thing they all seem to have in common- all of them give me a mouth full of juice eventually. I can almost set a watch to the time it'll happen with some of them. It seems inevitable and just a matter of time before they spit up some extra juice.

It didn't used to be this way. I'm wondering if the use of 100% cotton might be the reason?

This just doesn't seem acceptable to me. I wonder if people are getting used to it, and not even blinking when it happens. This can't be good for us to be even slightly consuming juice. It's not a ton, but any seems like too much.

Anyone noticing this, and know of any good fix? It doesn't seem to be any specific tank, just generally on all these new coils.

How can it "not be good for us"?
All the ingredients are GRAS for consumption.
Vapor doesn't change the ingredients.

I guess I'm primarily thinking of the nicotine. And much in the way that you should always wash your hands after handling juice, I would guess that the liquid form would be...not good :) I'd love to be wrong though. Maybe it's not that big of a deal health wise, and more so annoying.

I've got 4 different tanks that all use different coils. Not one of them leaks or spits juice into my mouth. Generally speaking if you're getting juice in your mouth it's because you aren't giving the coil enough power and it's not able to convert the juice to vapor fast enough. Ideally you want to turn up the wattage so that 100% of the juice sucked into the coil is turned into vapor, if your watts are too low then less than 100% of the juice is converted to vapor and the excess juice that isn't has to go somewhere. That somewhere is usually your mouth.

Way over thinking any dangers while setting aside any thought you may be doing something wrong.

Contrary to your issues, I have been building RTA's for almost 2 years and do not ave any juice in mouth issues from any of them.
Protanks and the like tend to collect Moisture in the tube along with a small amount of re-liquefied vapor but rarely do the sent e-liquid into ones mouth, unless the person is sucking on rather than drawing on the tanks.

YMMV

Right now juice in the mouth is the new normal. It's 90 some degrees here in western PA. I was at the mall today. Left my vape in the car. When I came out, squeezed my bottle, not realizing my juice had thinned to water :( took a pull, mouth full of home brew "Church" chocolate sundae. I was spitting out juice the rest of the way home!
