I don't usually care much for fruity flavors, but "Pink Spot" from Pink Spot is really tasty to me. It's raspberry and pineapple and lime. It's really light and sweet, and not overbearing like most fruits I've tried.

Yeah, I'm with you on the PS Pink Spot signature flavor. I saw you found my review of it already. That was just the little 3ml freebie they tossed in with my first order. I had almost added it to my order in the first place, so I was really glad to see that was the one they chose to add in. Definitely a high quality, well-made yummy blend, as is most of their juice, although recently, a few of their's have let me down.

Love the web site. Used the reviews to place my first order(s) (with heather's, rawr, and vapedudes) now that my hardware is coming in... Can't WAIT to try Pink Spot but had issues with their payment service. Frozen Lime Drop sounds right up my alley.

I made sure to drop a note in my orders that I was following advice from ECF and your web site. ;)

I'm so glad I found this thread. These are exactly the type of reviews I've been looking for. I have ordered some juice based on "get this juice it's awesome!" only to find out that it had a flavor base that I just didn't care for. I was wondering if there were any unbiased reviews that simply broke down the flavors one gets when vaped.

That said, of course I'll put my 2 cents in. For one, I'd love to see more flavors. I realize time and money are a big factor, and I look forward to your juice database growing over time. Perhaps donations (juice or money?) from the ECF members, donations from the vendors, or a combination of both could help with that?

Second suggestion, there is a thread in the ejuice section called top 5 vendors or something to that effect. It is up to about 500 replies now, and every so often there is a tally with the most popular vendors. I sure would like to see some reviews from the top 10 or 20 vendors on that list. Also, most people suggest what particular juice(s) they vape from those vendors when mentioning them, so that might be a good place to start (AVE Boba's comes to mind, it seems to be hands down the most popular juice on these forums).

Keep up the great work your reviews are awesome!

PS. I probably won't watch video's either, would rather have the format just as your doing it.

PSS. I haven't browsed the entire site yet (so this may actually be there), but a way to sort liquids based on number of stars would be nice!

Me too! Boba's has been on my list of juice to review since this project began. With so many people asking about it, I am making it a top priority and will try to get my hands on some in the next couple of weeks.

I'm betting the word "peppery" will be in there somewhere. For the life of me, I have no idea how that "belongs" in a graham cracker like taste, but there it is. I loved it, except for that, and it just ruins it for me. I wonder if they did that for throat hit or something? Anyway, willl be looking for your review on it.

I don't say "OH, I liked this!" I tell you what you what to expect from a particular flavor. So if you, for example, like a natural blueberry rather than a candy-like blueberry, you know what blueberry to buy and from what vendor.

I welcome that. Vendor descriptions are too brief to interpret, and "fine tuning" is all I'm looking for from a reviewer, because as you say, they may not have *my* tastebuds.

But in the case of watermelon, I want to know if it's like sweet candy watermelon, or very subtle fresh watermelon like they grow in Hope, Arkansas. :)

Is Cherry like Smith Brothers or Dum Dums or Mexican Jumbo Cereza, Marachino or what?

Speaking of Cherry, if nobody has made a Cherry Mash yet, it's the 3rd oldest candy bar in the U.S. (1876) -- much beloved.

I agree. Most are poor, although there are a few that do a halfway decent job. Tell me what flavors to expect (only some are self-explanatory) so if I can decide I might like it, don't just tell me it's the best juice in the world, they ALL say that. :)

Enjoying the site so far, especially the RY-X comparison. The RY series is one that I don't think I've ever had two people describe the same way.

Glad you like those, it turns out that's not even 1/2 the story...After a bit of back and forth, I finally got my hands on RY5-RY10. I am still letting them steep a bit, but hope to start the reviews early next week. Each juice takes quite awhile to review since it's vaped for 4 hours or so, bare minimum, before I even sit down in front of the keyboard. So, it'll be a bit before I'm ready to publish the second part, but it is in the works!

Thanks for the shout out with PS, it is much appreciated. The frozen lime is pretty straightforward. If that's the kind of juice your into, I don't think you'll be disappointed. It's got a really natural lime zest flavor, i just wish it had more of the cool icy part of the equation. Even as is, it's a very good juice and one I still pull out of the box every now and then for a few drops. Let me know what you think when it comes in...I don't think it really requires any additional steeping time at all so it should be good to go straight out of the mailbox.

Man, did you hit the nail right on the head...that's my whole goal with this project. And with cherry in particular (I can't think of a better example!), who knows what you're gonna end up with. Up to this point, I don't believe I've had a decent standalone cherry flavor. Plenty of spectacular juice with cherry in the mix, like the Voodoo Cola from LJ's eSmokes, and Rawr's Lazarus, which is a Cherry Limeade concoction, but nobody has really nailed a cherry all by itself.

I got to a vape get together over the weekend, and it was amazing to get to pass around and try different things.

I finally got to try Boba's Bounty and find out it's not my thing. On the other hand, NLV's "Gold" was something I could get into. I'm not normally a tobacco vape girl, but I couldn't taste the tobacco in that.

Pink Spot was all over the place, and I agree, it was very hit or miss. The hits were great, but of the 8 I tried, I only loved 3.

My Kick Bass Vapor root beer got passed around and around and around, people couldn't get over the root beer barrel taste and nose fizzies. I ended up giving up the rest of my bottle to our guest of honor who had been looking for a good root beer and not found one. I don't know if he actually went home with any or vaped the rest of it right there. Butterscotch bon bon, candy bar, rice krispety treat, and raspberry sweet tea were some other favorites.

Mrs. T's..... I have no idea what it is, but all of it tastes like chemicals. I had 4 flavors I ordered over a month ago, it's steeped. I know "everyone" loves it, but it tastes like hand soap to me. I felt better when I heard the same thing about different flavors from other people.

I got to taste some Pharmboy Juice... a banana tobacco which was a nice clean flavor. I'll definitely be ordering some of his other stuff when I have some cash.

One of my biggest issues is when a vendor has an underlying taste of rubbing alcohol, chemically aftertaste, or the god awful hand soap taste I've gotten in some cheap juices (and one very expensive vendor). As long as a juice doesn't have one of those issues, I can vape just about any flavor. Some I like better than others, but I'm pretty eclectic. I'll do arnie palmer one minute and candy bar the next.

I love being able to read a review that specifies candy vs. true fruit etc. so that I have some idea what I'm getting into.

We need a Gandalf review. :)

Yeah...that one is on my list per request from another ECF'er. I contacted HHV about it, and even told them this other person was willing to pay and have the samples sent directly to me. I received the strangest email back from them saying they didn't want to send samples and didn't want this other person to send them either. For the life of me, I can't understand what they're thinking, fortunately, they have no say in what I review and post. The only real drawback is that I will have to order it myself using one of my personal email addresses. The only thing this changes is how long it will take to get my hands on the juice. I don't have unlimited resources and have already sunk a mountain of money into this website with no real promise of any ROI, I'm just hoping to one day come close to breaking even. Even my paypal "Pay It Forward" donation button has gone almost entirely unused.

Anyway, yes Gandalf is coming, but it'll be a little while...

Great idea on using the ECF members votes to decide what to order next. Not sure why I hadn't thought of that before. I'll do that in the future when I'm looking for new vendors and flavors.

You're absolutely right about money being a major factor here. To put it very simply...this is expensive. Take however much you think something like this might cost and triple it and maybe you're getting close. But to be honest, most of the real money has already been spent in getting the site up and running with a fair amount of user friendly functionality. A number of vendors do send me sample juice for review, but much of it is still paid out of my vaping budget. The goal at this point is to try and recoup some of the losses to put back into the site to buy more juice and make more functionality upgrades.

Other than ad space, which isn't exactly selling like hotcakes right now, my only other avenue is, as you had mentioned, my paypal donation button. It's located in the upper right hand corner of the website labeled "Pay It Forward". At this point it has brought in very little.

When I implemented the search function, I had hoped to be able to let people search by star ratings, and while that was possible, the cost of doing so was simply far beyond the remaining available cash. That particular programming was technically beyond me so I had to pay a more advanced programmer to write the code for me. I had tried all the free search tools available, but since I refuse to have random ads popping up in peoples search returns, they simply couldn't fulfill my requirements. I do plan to add a new page with the highest rated juices shortly though, so maybe that will help meet some vapers' needs.

I have a sample pack from them and I haven't finished it yet. I do like some of the flavors, so I plan to finish it, but I was considering if you would accept a "pay it forward" donation in the form of opened juice containers. While I could certainly promise that nothing has been tampered with, I would suspect from a professionalism standpoint you may only want to sample juice straight from the vendor, unopened. Let me know what you think.

Either way I'll look into that paypal button ya got, it could save me a fortune if you help me find my mojo juice :)
