I saw this touched on in another post on the REO thread yesterday and it aroused my curiosity about the proper method to store juice long-term. Like many of you, I get a little paranoid about the government thugs cutting off my vaping supplies one day--hence my juice supply has continued to grow. I have simply kept it in a spare refrigerator. Now I've read that's not a good idea--keep it in a cool dark place instead. Well, my frig is cool and ....ok...as far as I know, that light goes out when I shut the door. Never have been able to prove it.
I've read that the reason that the frig is bad is because of the high humidity. Does that matter to a sealed bottle of juice? Maybe so. I dunno. I do know I don't want to store a stockpile of juice that has gone bad due to my lack of diligence about taking care of it.
Yes, this has been kicked around on the big board many times, but I'm curious what my fellow Reonauts think. I know I don't have to go any further than Reos Mods to find a ton of folks more knowledgeable than I am about this and I trust you folks to give me the straight scoop. Anyone?

Hmmm been thinking about this for a bit and I am wondering if that damp rid would work in the fridge. Your not keeping food in there only sealed bottles of juice so you wouldn't have to worry about contamination and if you change it every month it should soak up all the excess moisture.

Don't know if it would work or not, but hey its worth a try. Too bad I don't have a spare fridge to try it on.

I asked something similar a while back and was directed to the following post which had some helpful information. Hope you find it interesting bushmaster :)

Well, stravaigin, that puts quite a different twist on my plans. Most of my stockpile is flavored juice. I guess I'd better get to vapin' and fast, huh? Assuming Kurt know his stuff and he sounds like he does, I'd best change my methods to buying and storing unflavored nic juice. I can probably vape what I have on hand in 6 months or so, if I really try (and give a little away from time to time). Very useful information, stravaigin--thanks.:)

Maybe you could trade some for unflavoured if you think you might be overstocked. I'm going to give diy a try, I've ordered some flavourings but not feeling overly confident about the whole thing. Think I'll look for very basic recipes to start with.

That is an outstanding idea. I think it might become fun if we gave it a chance. Truth is, my wife has been suggesting I start making my own juices for some time now, but I have this incredible lazy streak in me that has kept me buying pre-mixed juices. Had I listened to her, I wouldn't be in the fix I'm in now.

I've had so many flavours that were just sort of "meh" that I keep thinking how good it would be if I could just mix something I like as required. You're right, it might be fun too. We could get big dusty books to write recipes in, preferably with a quill and ink!

That'd be perfect! Do you think we can still buy that parchment writing paper? If it was working out well, we could get tall pointy hats and cackle incessantly while scribbling down the recipes.

This potion mixing is becoming more appealing by the minute lol I've already got the pointy hat and a full length velvet cape complete with hood (dance remnants) so off to practice some evil cackling! bbl

I sometimes picture Don at BWB like the mad scientist! Mixing, fermenting, testing, waiting for the small explosion and bolt of electricity that signals the reaction is complete....
Then, I suppose he tastes it and.... :thumb::hubba::banana:

LOL, I wonder if it is indeed like that. I bet all the juice gurus have an evil laugh they save for just the right moment.
