Probably ordering some boge cartos from litecigusa tonight. How are their (Dekang) juices quality wise? Currently, they are at $4.25 / 10ml. Seen better prices, and worse prices. I need to stock up, and don't want to have too many different orders out if I don't need to.

I want to try the Maiden Coffee from Gourmet Vapor, so with the carto's that's two sets of S&H already. If litecig has good juices, then I'll probably just get it from them. Otherwise I'll hold off on the coffee to save S&H for a juice order somewhere else.

Between my wife and myself, we went thru about 20ml in our first week, WITH 4-10 analogs a day(each) mixed in. Analogs use is dropping, and juice use is rising, so I'm looking to get at LEAST 60ml total in varied flavors (for about 2 weeks).

Advice and recommendations would be appreciated.

ive heard there tobacco juices are decent...but it might take some steeping, and the fruit ones are ok too, i think you can get 30ml for around 10$ right...not a bad deal, im just not a big fan of dekang juice. my FIL loves it tho, ymmv, id say give it a go and if you dont like it you can try to swap with someone in the classifieds!-)) good luck

Probably should have mentioned my current juice buying experience -

3x 5ml 26mg 'Other PG' from cignot.com when I got my kits. Peppery flavor from nic made flavors weak and muted. (Limited cash, so took three flavors of 'Other' over 2 of something else.

2x 5ml 24mg from e-cigarette510.com. Liked the Nport, but iffy on the USA Red - Completely new to vaping, trying to refill a cheap gas station kit.

That's it. I'll spend a little extra to get 3x 10ml over 1x 30ml, just to get more flavor options.

LitecigUSA deals in Dekang juices that are made in China. They have a decent enough flavor, I found the whiskey, blueberry, and apple to be great, but there are so many other juice vendors out there, that just sticking to theirs wasn't in the cards for me. Might be all you need, but in case it isn't I'm going to recommend the following:

Backwoods Brew --Their Caramel Cappucino is awesome as is their 555 Exotic (if you're a "nutty type") Decent prices, starting at 0.65 cents per ml, the more ml per product you buy, the cheaper it gets. 30ml is around 16.95 before s&h.

Johnson Creek Smoke Juice -- Their Domestic and Tennessee cured juices are great, but a little on the expensive side as far as juices go per ml. 30ml is 19.95 before s&h.

Awesome Vapor --Just got a sampler pack from them, and have enjoyed all the flavors except menthol (not a menthol type guy). Not too shabby.

These are just 3, there are more like 30 or so(if not higher) and they all have a unique taste to their juice. IMHO, I would make a budget and just order the smallest size bottles to try out flavors until you find some that can be a mainstay.

In normal cartomizers I now only use juices with 20% VG or less and I avoid juices that leave a lot of cart-clogging flavoring sediment (of course you don't know they will until you buy them)

I love Gourmet Vapor vanillarum (80PG/20Vg or 90PG/10VG). Too bad you just missed the 50% off Gourmet Vapor sale. They don't have sales often but when they do have one it is often a great sale.

Reservoir cartos and tanks like the thickness of 20-30% VG.

Dripping on an atomizer on a manual battery I vape any occasional vape 30-50% VG juices I like. You can use any thickness on an atomizer as long as it flow/wicks at least as fast as you vape it.

I enjoy some Dekang RY4 (I also use it to thin a butterscotch liquid I have down to thin enough for cartos) and I like Dekang DK-TAB (a rather plain dark-tasting turkish american blend) mixed with a bit of FreedomSmokeUSA Orange Ball (chocolate orange ball) which adds more depth for the dark side and adds bright orange highlights. But that combo was something I vaped before I paid attention to flavoring sediment so that combo may have some.

Some hints -

If you find your nicotine level in 100% PG is too irritating, or your nicotine too high

- you can mix 3 parts PG juice and 1 part VG juice of the same nic and similar flavor to make a 75PG/20VG juice. Or you could mix a lower level or even 0 nic juice to lower the nicotine.

- at the cost of some nicotine level, flavor, TH, you can just add pure vegetable glycerin. Humco said their Glycerin brand at Walmart near the rubbing alcohol is 100% vegetable. And for more cost, Michael's Crafts has Wilton Glycerin with the cake decorating stuff (it is used in some icings).

If you get a juice you don't like - mix it

- If you find a good vanilla that is a great mixer to fix up any fruit or dessert flavor or even to tame some tobacco juices

- a good plain tobacco juice is good for cutting a tobacco juice you don't like

Cheap juices -

Madvapes TopVapor juices are very cheap but some are not so good. Read the reviews and stars. Madvapes also has very cheap big bottles of Dekang. So if you find a Dekang you like, you can get big bottles there.

DIY -

DIY is a great way to save money on juices. See OneStopDIYShop and DIYFlavorShack - both have DIY kits and supplies.

So many choices... That's why I asked. I was thinking already of trying some 16-18mg (on top of a few 24's, which are working for me), as well as maybe an 80/20 pg/vg mix.

There are just so many places to order from that I don't want to go the route of buying a few here, some there, 'wait! I wan't this too', etc... and spending S&H on 5-10 orders, or spending too much here, when I could get the same/better somewhere else for less.

Since I'm definitely getting the carto's (credit to dormouse if I like them), I'll pick up a few of the Dekangs from litecig. But I'll take the current advice into consideration, and try one or two other places as well.

So, if anyone else wants to add their :2c:, I'd like a dollar or two before I order later tonight/tomorrow afternoon.

Vapor Station has a really good sampler to try lots of different flavors. They have excellent quality juices as well. All come in glass dropper bottles with the ingredients listed on the label.

You can get 50 ml for $25.

Vapor Station

My sister vapes their Tampa but I've heard good things about their other tobacco juices. I've tried their Creme Soda and really like it.

Colt, just turned out a little too good to be true (for my setup). I've got standard 510 batts, and the 15 pack only has the LR option. So, if/when I upgrade to a bigger batt, I'll be sure to keep them in mind.

Swedish, great deal, and I'd love glass bottles (so many uses once empty). There just weren't enough flavors that caught my attention as something I'd want to try right now.

Ckitt, so far one (maybe two) of your three are looking like winners to me. Awesome vapor because they are throwing in the free sample with every bottle purchased, so I can try 2 for the price of 1. And Backwoods just has some delicious looking flavors.

dormouse, had any problems recently with the Boge? I was reading in the technical\cartomizer forum that a number of people have been having issues recently with a bad batch.

Anyway, thanks everyone who has chimed in, and everyone who may do so in the future.

I also get Boge 510 standard resistance cartos (5-pack) at LiteCigUSA.net and NiteLiteVapor.us

And this is how I use them
---
How I fill Vapor4Life KR8 cartos and Boge 510 cartos

I use juices with 20% or less VG and I only stick with ones that leave little or no carto-clogging flavoring sediment in the stuffing.

Pop out the soft cap with an unbent paperclip in the mouth hole, very careful not to catch stuffing or the wire loop.
Shake and open the eliquid

Hold a bit of tissue on the threaded end hole, tilt the carto, and slowly add 18 drops per ml of capacity into the stuffing, stopping when necessary to let it soak in (Boges and most KR8 cartos are about 1ml). I sort of drip onto the inner wall and it slides into the stuffing.
Wait 15 seconds or so then see how many more drops the carto stuffing will soak in easily.

Clean up the threaded end, tilt open end down into tissue, puff into threaded end to clear air channel (Boges and the KR8 cartos I use have a defined center air channel and I want to see light through that)

Sop up any loose juice above the stuffing (I usually touch some loose tissue softly to the stuffing while the open end is pointed down, right after puffing into the thread end (or at the same time as that puff if I think I overfilled it)

Cap and let it settle - I lay it on different sides for 15-20 minutes to make sure every bit of stuffing gets damp so I won't singe the carto. if you use thicker juice than me (I use 20% Vg or less) then you may need to wait much longer.

While vaping, if the vapor gets a bit light or a bit dry or the carto is getting hotter than normal, I take the carto off the battery and add eliquid. I sometimes use a plastic or delrin drip tip as a mouthpiece on Boge and KR8 cartos (not to drip into since the juice would head for the central air channel)

Think i've seen this paste, er... post from you at least 10 times dormouse.

I asked if you've had issues because a recent thread (in the technical issues forum) has regular boge users having some issues from multiple vendors with 2-5 of 5 cartos dying or otherwise becoming unusable in very short timeframes.

And since it was your recommendation on both boge and litecig, I thought I'd ask your most knowledgeable, if oft verbose personage, if you've had similar recent experiences. Anyway, you've been a great help to me since I joined, so keep it up, and thank you.

Edit: You know what, I reread, and apparently I missed something. It's the 2.0 that's the problem, and I believe standard resistance is either 2.5 or 3. Oops!
