I've seen lots of posts on here lately about public vaping, etc, so I wanted to share 2 positive things that have happened in the past week :)

1. I work at a major sports bar with hundreds if not thousands of chains across the country. I see people vaping in here all the time. Usually it's just blus or a disposable cig a like, but last night there were three people sitting at the bar with what appeared to be some small ego batteries and clearos. Now, they were stealth vaping, but being a vaper myself I immediately spotted their devices. The good news? No one complained. No one hardly even noticed. And the best news is management has absolutely no problem with anyone doing it. Yay! I just feel like this is a small victory, in my eyes, especially in a rural area where I literally only know ONE other person that vapes.

2. I had my wonderful yearly physical, and my doctor and I got talking about how I need to stop smoking. I told her how I was down to only a few analogs a day and I was using an electronic cigarette. She was thrilled and said how I really, really, need to stop smoking. And she would MUCH prefer I use an "e-cig" as opposed to the real ones and that she really thinks it's going to catch on everywhere and be widely accepted. I was just happy to get approval from a health professional :)

There ya go. There's my positive news for the week! Happy vaping ya'll! :vapor:

Grats on your physical going well.

I'm also in a rural area, and I think that has a lot to do with the 'acceptance' of vaping in public. I mean, when you're sitting at a bar immediately next to someone with a huge dip in their lip, spitting into a cup full of napkins, near a door to the patio with cigarette smoke blowing inside, nobody even bats an eye at your clean and pleasant-smelling vape.

I am glad to hear it!

I had to explain it to my doctor who was sceptical at best to the benefits of my E-cig. But I have not been really sick this year so I guess I will have something to say at my Physical next year.

The closest thing we have to a sports bar here is Chili's and they are very accepting, I have not been in there for a little while but last time the bartender kept stealing drags off my e-cig. I was alright with it. It is why I keep extra tips in my Vape Bag.

Any new favs from alice?

No, not yet. I think my dripping atty is done for after one day. Everything just tastes burnt now. Still just can't get enough of April Moon, Twas Brilig, and A Quiet Morning. Must...have....more.
