Hey.....Stop That!!!

What's wrong with you? What are you thinking? Why are you blowing valuable droplets of e-juice on your floors, furniture, pets, home electronics, garbage cans or into tissues?

The only thing that compares to this unnecessary waste is the Condom Method of filling/refilling.

If there is a little too much juice in your Cartomizer why not just put it back in the bottle? It's pretty easy to do if you can:

1. hold a Cartomizer upside down
2. if you can lightly squeeze a bottle while holding it upright

Simply hold the Carto upside down, apply a light squeezing pressure on your bottle, stick dropper into airhole, release squeezing pressure form your bottle. The corresponding vacuum created will simply suck the excess juice back in. I know......it's crazy brilliant.

Here is the Blowout/Condom Waste Math

30 ml Bottle = 30 Filled Cartomizers or 1 ml per Carto
1 ml = 25 drops

Drops Wasted on 1 Refill
2............ blowing out a flooded Wick Tube
2............ drops in thread, outer sides of carto housing, and in the condom (Condom Method)

Instead of getting 30 refills out of a bottle, now you only get 26. How? Well 26 Refill multiplied by 4 drops of waste equals 104 droplets divided by 25 droplets per Cartomizer give you 4 Cartomizers.
A loss of 4 Cartomizer out of 30 a 14% percent loss!

Imagine buying a 30 pack of canned soda, walking out of the store and simply throwing 4 cans into the garbage.

Now.....one day and that day may come sooner than you know. You will wish/pray that you had an extra 4 full Cartomizers of your favorite Juice as you wait a day or four for the Postman to arrive. Trust me...if you vape that day is a coming!

Isn't this like spilling a bit of wine on the counter, sucking it up with a dropper and putting it back in the bottle minus the alcohol to kill the germs? :)

Good idea, but I'd make sure the juice gets used FAST (probably not an issue with most of you all ;) And, yes my mother was a germaphobe.

If you drip around the outside edge and roll the liquid around the outside edge just until no dry floss is there, it should be rare to have to blow.

Thank you Snow!! I've tried but, somehow always wind up making a mess by squirting more juice out of the top of the bottle while trying to squeeze the air out to create the vacuum.

Using the syringe to suck some back when filling works fine. Also, have some carts that the filler is so far down the tube that the bottle tip never makes contact.

I read somewhere that syringes are a no-go in NJ so, I haven't bothered with them - I only drip using the bottles. S'ok, I can sacrifice a few drops to the gods of carto reuse. :)

To add to the "Maestro's comments... there seems to be an infatuation with filling the cartos to the absolute brim; that alone accounts for the overfilling and thus the need to extract the seepage. I find that stopping when the polyfill is moistened well but not pooling around the top is plenty enough. When you "Cram" the carto with too much juice it wicks over into the air tube and thus the need to clear the airway.

Rock on fellow vapors!

Your right Lujin this post needs a caveat: Does Not Apply to Syringe Users

If the Air Tube or filler is too you can place the dropper over the battery hole.

I'm not to sure about the spilling the wine on the counter analogy. This is more like squeezing too much conditioner on your hand and using the bottle to suck the excess back in something you B & B ladies can especially relate to. At least I do it with $1.39 bottle of Suave.....my wife won't let me touch her Bumble.

Good Idea Snow, I have tried this and have the same comments as above with an additional idea.

Some carts batting is too far in. Some times I am too lazy.

Heres a quick idea for the lazy ones:

Take a cart that needs a few more drops of the same flavor and place it mouth piece up with the white cap/drip tip removed.

Hold the flooded wick tube cart over the one needing a little more. Blow into the mouth piece side onto the cart needing a little more. You might catch some in the one needing more drops. If you aim it right or get close enough you get it all. If not you tried.

Tada.

hahaha...well I don't know about the "right way" but certainly a less wasteful way. I always laugh when I watch videos of guys just blowing out their cartos wherever. One can only imagine their computers, carpeting, and walls coated with tiny droplets of Juice everywhere.

The thing is Kanza I'm terribly cheap or as I like to think of it economically resourceful. For instance I won't buy cans of soda because my kids only drink half of them and I end up pouring the other half out into the sink. I won't change my car oil every 200 miles per my Owners Manual, instead I change it when it's dirty. I won't use Premium Gas in my daily driver cars either, although it's recommended in the Owners Manual because those motors run around 8:1 compression and are built to run perfectly fine on Regular Gas.

You know...14% doesn't sound like a lot but it matters what the context is. A 14% penalty on income or a 14% APR on a loan or 14% interest on a 6 month CD.
