Hi Guys,
On a whim I decided to try the EGO-T from Absolute thinking the $48 starter kit might be worth a try. All the time dreading that I would hate it but I figured I could always go with the cartomizer.
EGO-T - IN STOCK! - EGO-T 1100mAh Starter Kit - Electronic Cigarette | Electronic Cigarettes | E-Cigarettes | E-Cigs from Smoore

It's only been 3 days but I'm loving it except the increase in size. I've experienced zero problems with bad taste or leaking. Vapor production has been terrific.

I'm keeping my fingers crossed that the battery & atomizer life is acceptable.

OT I thought my home concocted mainly VG juice might be a bit thick so I thinned it a bit with Remy Martin. Very nice!

Glad you are liking the eGo-T, Doris! Indeed if the juice was unthinned VG with just, say, 10% flavor (generally in PG), it may well be too thick. The Remy Martin is a very nice idea, but over time the sugars in it, or any brandy, might start to gum up the atty. Many use vodka or PGA for thinning VG juices, with about 5% being the right amount. Alcohol in juices dries me out too much over time, so I use distilled water to thin my VG juices. About 12% if I am using 10% flavor...general rule for cartos is %flavor + %water = 22%, sometimes a little less, sometimes a little more, but that ballpark. If no flavor, then 20% water. After a while you can judge the viscosity of the juice by just tilting the bottle and watch how fast it moves back and forth.

In addition to cartos, you can always use a regular or LR atty on this PV. If its LR I recommend using a drip tip and dripping, rather than using a cart...in fact I only drip with regular attys. For atty-dripping, I actually prefer unthinned VG juices. Got that tip from the owner of VaporGalaxy, who only sells unthinned VG juices...and they are SO GOOD for dripping!

Thanks for letting us know of your success! We always like to hear that vapors are happy with their choices. And have fun with the DIY juices!
