Both batteries I purchased from Wayne at Ruyandirect have broken within the first two weeks of use. I didn't even use the second battery until the first one broke after 1 weeks use...popped the other in and the same exact thing happened: the metal cylinder with the threads that connect the battery to the atomizer become loose and with little or no effort pop off the the long colored cylinder of the battery, exposing wires. I have taken very good care of my devices and do not fault myself at all for what happened.

Just thought some people would want to take an interest...hope the atomizers aren't of the same quality.

p.s. how good is Wayne's service? I just bought a prodigy and have no use for any more 801 batts. Any chance of seeing my $$?

Are you just reiterating something you've already posted or is this something that's happened again?

Couldn't help but to notice the many problems, questions and recommendations you've had regarding your 801. Is there nothing you may have possibly done that assisted with the connector coming out of the case?

As a moder, I would have loved any of my connectors to easily come out of it's case. Even some that I've removed, that had no glue to help hold the connector in it's housing served to be a big pain in the .... to remove.

However sorry you've had problems, Ruyan does guarantee many of their products. The 801 in particular has a 1 year guarantee. You'll just have to fork over the cost of shipping. You can do that by slow mail at a fairly low cost.

The Prodigy was a good purchase. It solves one of the biggest headaches in vaping - battery life and battery durability.

Batteries and atomizers break and fail. Sometimes due to user error, but also because of manufacturing defects. Get the batteries replaced under warranty from Wayne and keep them for emergencies when all your device decide to stop working.

Wayne is fantastic. Most of his gear comes with a 1 year warranty.

I had something similar with an atomizer that came apart (801). When I spoke with him about it he said send them back and he'd replace them. I argued about paying shipping back when that would be the cost of the part basically but he just asked me to hold on to old equipment and ship it back in bulk for replacement of all items.

I use the 801 almost exclusively and have been through more atomizers and batteries than I care to count. I finally purchased a Kissbox which has a sealed manual switch just to avoid the constant headache of bad or sticking auto-batteries.

Wayne and RD will do right by their customers.
