You have the kit or you're still waiting for it?

I quit analogs using the 510 kit but everyone is different.

I am waiting for it. I have a Blu now, but I don't like it. I mean when it hits good, I love it more than an analog, but when i get almost nothing out of it, I just get frustrated. I placed the order on cignot for a no box kit, ordered a lot of sample juices for strictly e liquid, some cartomizers, and a pcc and batts from other sources.

The 510 should hopefully be worlds better than the Blu. In fact, with each battery upgrade, it was like the dawn breaking over the horizon for me. Beginning vaping is a series of baby steps, but you are still moving forward. And the initial cash output can be quite alarming tho eventually it all evens out. I know, the waiting is the hardest part, but thankfully Cignot is usually a super fast delivery.

Welcome to the ECF!

I had a supermini before I got the 510. I was still smoking some cigs (3 packs a day) until the day I got the Joye 510 and haven't had a cigarette since. That will be 1 year next Friday. I've had other ecigs since then but the 510 is what immediately replaced the cigarettes - the vapor and flavor was so much more than the supermini - I thought 'hmm... this could actually replace cigarettes!' (something I never thought could happen and really wasn't looking to do that - I liked smoking) but it did from that day on.

And that worked for me for a few months before I wanted to try a Janty Stick and later some mods - a Bartleby and a Protege. I've since went to a Tornado (eGo is the same device) and had they been available, I likely would have gone with them as a 2nd ecig because they still have the 510 atomizer - which still produces the best vapor, but the battery life on the Tornado is much greater. But, there is nothing wrong with the regular 510 kit as long as you keep your batteries recharged.

Is there a good "system" to help quit, or just what ever happens?

Great choice of pv and supplier...you'll be thrilled with both as I was.

Everybody is different and there is no one system that works. "...just what ever happens..." is a better description. Some have gone cold turkey from day one (small minority imo), tapered off, or like me, started vaping with no intention of quitting. From 1-2 packs/day for 45 yrs, I'm down to 0-2 cigs/day. "Accidental quitters" as one member put it.

So go at your own pace, but never get down on yourself if you light up. Just know that the longer you vape, the more distance you put between you and the analogs.

Yeah, I wasnt planning on actually trying to quit with these, but at the price cigarettes are at, not spending $75-$85 a week would really help with my current money situation.Hell I'd be happy to spend $20 a week and $60-$100 on e cigs a month, I'd still be saving money. What would you guys say is an average monthly spend on your parts and liquid? Just trying to get an idea of what I should save monthly for now, until I get my daily liquid intake down. I am aware it varies, but for now just knowing what to save for liquid and parts would help.

Heh ... most of us here probably don't save a dime over smoking. :) It's just like any other hobby ... so many toys to buy and try! Yeah, some months you spend a bunch, and some you won't spend any at all (which is more than you can say for analogs). But in the end you are extending your life, and that's what it's all about.

If you stay with the 510 kit, you might get a pack of 5 atomizers - always good to have them around. Ymmv on how you use atomizers up. I haven't lost one due to 'age' (I've killed a few) for over 11 months but that's the exception. Figure on losing one every 3 months - but some go through them in a week.

Batteries - manual batteries (autos can go quickly) will last you a longer time than that atomizers, most likely.

The average around here on ejuice is about 2ml a day (I do 3-4ml/day) but you could figure a 30ml bottle of ejuice a week on the safe side, which you can get at heaven gifts, for example, for $9. OR at other places up to $30. Buy samples:

Find out what you like then stock up. Although your tastes are likely to change. You'll get your taste buds back in about 3-5 weeks. But your taste will change after that too - ejuice gets too sweet, you get tired of the tobacco flavors, and then you'll want something sweeter and go back to tobacco, etc. etc. :) Although some will find a few flavors and stay with them. So ymmv on that.

The 510 is what got me off smokes. The first month or 2 i didnt really save much money but that was because i wanted to try all the neat flavors of juice out there on the market, So now i got a good amount of different flavors and i only have to order my favorite everyday vape every 2 weeks or so, finally im saving money that is till the next new flavor or mod comes out on the market :)

I love mine :)
I quit by accident using it - I had no plans to quit just cut down, hopefully to just a couple of packs a week instead of a pack a day, but I ended up junking the smokes for my 510 instead lol Took about 10 days for me to just stop of my accord btw.
Im still using the same 510 kit I got back in December from cignot though I added some PT (one is 5v) and I got a mod as well now lol.
I have saved cash - but I do go through stages of buying lots of juice that I dont need (I have lots already lol) just because it sounds good. When Im not doing that, then my outgoings are almost nothing. Even if I was buying juices all the time, and the odd spare atty, it would still work out cheaper than the $25 per week I used to spend on smokes.
